Or it’s failure. Les was fired because he could no longer do it, and now Alleva should be fired if Orgeron can’t do it. The new AD should make the call on Orgeron.

No excuses.

The most positive thing I can say about Ed Orgeron is that he will be responsible for getting Joe Alleva fired.

You know I really thought Alleva was thinking, "hey this hire will be the most important one of my career here at LSU, my job is on the line, better make sure I hire a good coach.

Then he turns around and puts his entire career on Ed O

I mean what the actual frick, still to this day it makes zero sense.

Great song by Alice In Chains

Also, we have a really tough schedule...so that’s kind of an excuse.

Schedule wasn’t an excuse in 2011...2nd hardest in the country.

And we fired that coach. Orgeron has no fricking excuse.

Who gives a shite? He was hired to be better than Miles.

9-4 gets Alleva fired, and O soon after.

You think just because O gets paid less that he gets to be worse?

What school do you think this is, ULM? Tulane?

Hell, LA Tech pays Holtz a lot less than Orgeron, and they wouldn’t have hired O.

So why we are paying a coach much less and expect more wins?

Ok, so just expect fewer wins. Let LA Tech become the state flagship (I’d be ok with that), because they may beat LSU in Baton Rouge.

You good with that?

Many in state schools beat us in baseball and it seems people are ok with that. Don't hate O hate the person who put him there

I don’t hate O. Alleva is the one who screwed up by hiring him. Alleva should go first.

Are you really equating a midweek loss in baseball to a loss in football ?

You have to try and see it through Allevas eyes. If he sets the win total high, and O fails, then he's out a job. I guarantee his win total for O is around 8-9 to keep both their jobs safe.

I think he wins 8, but I don’t think that’s safe for him.

It damn sure wasn’t safe for Les.
