$15 million of the $25 million comes from House settlement money. This is the first year that money has been available and it is paid for from the school’s budget.

The $10 million on top is what LSU’s donors are committing to.

Two years ago LSU had maybe $6 or 7 million for its entire roster. So you’re talking about a few million a year in new donor money.

He’s one of the better ADs in the country. His job to is make elite hires and provide resources to win.

Go back and look at 2021 and tell me which coach would’ve been an upgrade on BK. Even that is hindsight.

He’s not perfect but LSU is not an easy AD job and he navigates it really well. I don’t know if there’s another out there who could step in and do a better job.
It’s just too easy to defend a team when you know they’re one dimensional. And this team is as one dimensional as some of Miles’ teams. The difference is those teams could run and couldn’t throw and this one can throw and not run.

But Nuss has to be better. He walks in the building today and owns that. No need to give him a pass on a message board.
It always falls on HC. Good and bad.

Our roster in year three is simply not good enough. It’s not unique to us. There are a few year three head coaches at big programs struggling. The portal and NIL means the way Saban or Les or O built and maintained the roster is no longer the formula and every setback from year one or two still has an impact today. Steeples and Cooks, House, the DL coach situation, all impact us still today.

The one thing I don’t get is the O line. We should be so much better there in the run game. Maybe it’s an identity thing or we just got by last two years because of Jayden’s legs.

But it all lays at the feet of the head coach, win or lose.
Bruce Ellington at South Carolina did both.

Basketball: 80 games, 11.2 PPG
Football: 38 games, 1,586 yards receiving, 16 TD

Sounds like as far as LSU basketball and what our coaches want, which is all the frick I care about, this is a step backward, not forward.

If our basketball programs can raise $400 million then I am sure TAF would foot the bill and give our coaches everything they want and exactly where they want it.

But in the real world, LSU has limited resources and increasing demand for those resources (NIL chief among them), which means something has to be sacrificed. In this proposal it’s daily access to the competition arena.

Texas has two tournament bound basketball programs including the No. 6 women’s basketball program. It does not appear that daily access to the competition arena is a necessity for them to be a championship level program.

Not gonna lie, seeing Duop in the NBA is such a pleasant surprise. He has a great story and is a wonderful ambassador for LSU.
A new state of the art arena at no cost to LSU or the tax payer that both vastly upgrades the game day experience and potentially attracts legitimate entertainment options to town?

Sounds like the best idea Baton Rouge has had in a long time.
If anyone else tries this it probably flops. But Hunt breaking his professional stride to clown on the Aggies makes the bit. Moscona did his best to ruin it though.
Rece went to Bama. I don’t really care what he thinks about LSU.
I usually watch on Apple TV. I have not watched the Alabama episode yet but I signed up after the Florida win and it has been worth it. I wish episodes would come out a little soon after the games but I guess it takes time to put them together. I wold love it if they would put up baseball scrimmages too!
10th is fair but I think we finish higher. Gotta keep expectations realistic for MM in year one and idk who is going to carry the load on offense
Held off until now but signed up today and watched the Florida episode. It was awesome, especially seeing Kayshon at halftime and Will Campbell coming back in the training room. I’m not sure how much i would want to watch an episode after a loss but The people on ON3 have been hyping it up for a couple weeks now and honestly this episode was really good
that was great- thanks for sharing
Josh is one of the better talking heads out there, he is pretty fair and levelheaded, predictions don’t mean anything but he seems pretty plugged in and always backs up his opinions with facts

Can someone add more context for us casual Alex Boxers?

Shohei Ohtani is the best two-way player in baseball since Babe Ruth. He's a sub 3.00 ERA pitcher and 40+ HR hitter.

Paul Skenes hit .300 last year with 10+ HR and was 10-3 with a 2.73 ERA.

Crazy that LSU has college baseball's Ohtani and Mike Trout (Crews).
Koy Moore has more drops in college (3) than touchdowns (0).
Herb's got more offense in his game. He did it for Bama. Maybe he can do more with the second unit, but with NOP starting five, he just needs to rebound, move the ball and knock down the occasional open 3. He's not a 1 tho.

Blame the AD. LSU can schedule every home game at night and tell the sec and tv to go to hell

CBS has the TV contract. They make the schedule. Athletic departments have little say. Word is LSU and SEC lobbied for PM game but CBS didn't listen. Once they picked UGA-AUB and A&M-BAMA, ESPN could either put LSU on the SECN at night or ESPN in the morning. It'll be one of their highest rated 11 am games all year.

This is on CBS. That contract can't end soon enough.
Very similar start for Harold to Devin White. Harold is actually a little ahead of schedule. Kid's potential is through the roof.
