Obviously the binder contained the master plan to take LSU Football to unprecedented levels of success. Maybe now we can put this comparing him to a coach we just fired to bed. I Love the underdog!! Go TIGERS

No, man, that wasn't it. It was Alleva's mentioning the binder several times. It became a very funny symbol, and it still is. We'll be making binder jokes forever.

If CEO wins the title, I think we join maybe only Miami (FL) with three consecutive coaches winning a title.

Hope and pray was his strategy. He hit the jackpot with Burrow and Brady. Without those gets, he's fired.

An interesting point I thought of last night: Has any team ever fired a national championship winning coach and went on to win a national championship with the coach they hired to replace him?

LSU has that possibility if we win it all this year.

Wonder why Miles didn't try something different.

I suppose O was just blind lucky.

I refuse to believe you are this stupid. Might want to double check, but he did get them. And I blame Orgeron for bringing them in.

I mean, you're kind of ignoring that O hired Les's TE coach to be his OC and had a couple bad years of offense.

I have a pretty good feeling Joe Brady wasn't in the binder.

That doesn't take any credit away from O for making it happen, but let's not just forget the first part of his tenure.

It’s amazing how some people want to call great decision making lucky. I guess OSU and Nebraska were not lucky. CEO has many year of experience and you people think he can’t recognize talent or coach ability. Keep thinking like that we will see you at the NATTY. Go TIGERS

Didn't say it was lucky. His first two OC hires weren't good though.

You really gonna sit here with a straight face and say hiring Brady was the plan all along back in 2016?

ETA: And it's GEAUX tigers, not go.

let's, also, not forget that he went out and got Canada. it didn't work out, but what he has consistently done is look for a way to improve.

He has done exactly what Les wouldn't. He has not stopped trying to make the necessary changes to improve. He finally got the winning combination.
