Notre Dame is all but assured to be our bowl opponent.

I don't know who all will opt out for them.

But I have a funny feeling JD will play. And if he does, you can turn the fricking lights off in south bend.

I just dont see any scenario where JD plays in whatever meaningless Relia-Mayo Bowl.

Gator Bowl please.

Quick 1.5 hour run up I-95 to Jacksonville with minimal traffic.

Last Gator for LSU was 87. (The Hodson to Davis show against South Carolina)

LSU fans need new scenery..........

JD is a character guy and he wants to get Malik the record. He’s playing.

I say they both start, Nabers gets the record and then BK turns the page/pulls them and let’s Nuss take over.

That’s the first lsu game I remember like it was yesterday…. Ran cables from under the house to the Den grabbed every tv and had one for each game on. Those were great times on New Year’s Day.

Because that what you would do, that is why you can’t see it. He may opt out, but it would surprise me a little if he did. JD5 is just wired different and that is what makes him so good beyond the physical gifts.

JD is about 55 total yards short of 5,000 on the season.

He’s 180 passing yards away from being the 3rd player ever with 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. Deshaun Watson was 1st (15 game season), then Kyler (14 game season). Kyler won the Heisman and JD will do it in 13 games.

He’ll play long enough to hit those numbers and get Malik his 30 yards he needs.

There is no chance he plays in the bowl game.

And he absolutely shouldn’t play in the bowl game.

Why would BK take out his best two players?

You guys that act like bowl games are meaningless and every player should opt out are the worst. They are not trial runs for next season, that is what spring games are for.

Watson didn’t win the Heisman. Incredible stat line if JD can get there though (if he plays)

I would assume to have Malik in the game until he gets the record. Daniels to opt out, and Brian Thomas opt out. I think the rest of the team minus injuries should be available.

Then why not just opt out after the Bama loss? For a Heisman? Maybe, maybe not. Is a Heisman worth millions?? 13 weeks and it's "lets see what Jayden can do". The the bowl game comes around, and it's "He should absolutely positively not play. He'd be stupid to!!!" Well based on that logic, he shouldn't have played against A&M either because it was basically as meaningless as the bowl game will be.

They're all looking out for Jayden's best interest...blah blah blah. The "kid" is actually an adult. He can look out for himself. Just like Devon White did. A lot of "bowl game injury fear mongering".

Was that the game where they kept talking about SC black death defense over and over and Hodson just ate them alive.
