No BS Between Plays

I can’t say enough how awesome it is to see the O & D hustle back to the line after every single play. No celebrations, just get lined up for the next play. Celebrate on the score.
I wish I knew exactly what Coach Kiffins philosophy is on this. The players were so disciplined, I assume the penalty for wasting time is harsh.

He’s a high tempo guy. Get your arse when it needs to go ASAP, every fricking play.

I know the announcers mentioned the ball boys at some point but I was even impressed how they were basically shoving LSU guys who went out of bounds back onto the field. I have never seen something like that. The attention to detail by everyone was incredible

The philosophy behind going fast?
That seems simple enough.
Force defense to think on the fly, keep their tired personnel in the game, usually forces less exotic looks from the defenses, and causes big miscommunications at times

What I noticed last night that I’ve never seen before was either the LSU player getting the ball back to the Ref w the quickness or the LSU player actually spotting the ball.

No, the philosophy of not wasting time with stupid celebrations for routine plays. He obviously does not allow it.
Most people say “let them have fun”

Was 2019 am outlier for LSU with the tempo of Slinger, Brady and Burrow before Kiffin?

He doesn’t allow it, it is selfish nonsense that slows his offense if you want to showboat.
It’s an attention to detail thing, a the offense works when we go fast so don’t do it. He probably also got some of it from Saban.

I was at the game so can’t catch everything like on tv, but I think Clempson burned 2 TO’s on D because they couldn’t get lined up.

Yes 2019 was the outlier, we would go fast but never the way we did in 19 or now.

And no stupid circus going on trying to get plays called and people lined up correctly on offense

I agree and never agreed with the “let them have fun” argument, especially now that they are getting paid.
There is no doubt that the entire team is 10000% bought in. So as I originally stated, the penalty must be harsh for doing it. Or this team is just that special.

You are correct. Baker and the D will benefit from practicing against the tempo much more too.

I noticed that also. I thought to myself "I never noticed that before" thinking it was just me.

Mentioned it to my boys during the game. I’m sure Kiffen preaches tempo and that contributes to it.

Chaos is a ladder.

Kiffin mentioned that they get to talk to the QB the entire time if they snap the ball before the headset goes off.

Call it an unwritten/unknown by the players benefit of pushing hard, going fast. This is how WE do it, this is why WE do it, this is how WE benefit. It leaves no time for ME and celebrating a 4 yard gain on 3rd down that WE should have gotten anyway....

“Spot the ball” isn’t just a saying
