Yes, you have to finish. Think of D. White vs P. Queen. You have to both get there and bring the runner down. Big difference between the two in college. Not knocking, just saying....

Yeah, this isn't the feeling of a season that grew in 2019, this is "just different". While I want the most out of this year, I totally get that we are just going to keep stacking players, games, years, wins.....

And yes, he may move on, which I choose to not believe for some time, it will be a helluva ride until then......

re: No BS Between Plays

Call it an unwritten/unknown by the players benefit of pushing hard, going fast. This is how WE do it, this is why WE do it, this is how WE benefit. It leaves no time for ME and celebrating a 4 yard gain on 3rd down that WE should have gotten anyway....
I think the votes on your post show the reality of him. About 50/50. I now don’t mind the energy as much but he tries too hard to make it interesting sometimes when they are in an actual analysis discussion. It just doesn’t flow well between them all. He was better his first year when they gave him small segments to do his thing.
Nope, I have never known this. That's awesome. Have never seen such a thing. No sarcasm. Solid post...... :dude:
Been reading this board for a while now. WTF is up with the alternate caps and lower-case BS? That is so childish and ridiculous..... Do you just think it is cool? Makes you feel better about yourself when someone comments?
Missionary work, huh? Freaking BYU pulling all the strings....

Agreed. Seems like the limit was pushed, point was made. If they back off now and let the others fight, then that should minimize the questions about it for LSU throughout the season. Too much drama for one year of a few players. Especially this close to the season.
Yes, this is the post that made the difference.
11 - 15 is the best place to start every season. Everything is in front of us and not some unreasonable hype. Just keep winning and it takes care of itself.

once again, let me remind you, Indiana has 2 billionaires spending big money to make it happen.

Yeah, but no. The traditional building year over year is out. Cignetti has his formula of older guys, which obviously works. Kiffin has his own proven formula too.

He seems way ahead of value of positions/teams. Happy with 3* in certain places with right skills. Credit his upbringing (and failure) in the pros for him to be a bit ahead of the curve with this way of thinking. Probably helps with the money folks showing he is savvy in that respect as well. He has an advantage which means we have an advantage.

This season has a very optimistic outlook with lots of excitement to be held. I don't think I could be disappointed this season at all.
Can't disagree with any presented. All will improve from last year and over the season. The speed that these come together will be the most important to have a great season, though.
Pressure, sure. Hot seat, not likely until year 4 if things go bad. We will have years of improvement from where we were. He fits, he's a good coach, he'll have time.

I think Kiffin feels like he’s deserved this oppertunity his whole life and hasn’t really gotten it. He is arrogant and wants to prove that he’s right about himself.

There's a fine line between confidence and cockiness. He was cocky in the past and it hurt him. He definitely feels confident he has advantages with evaluations, offensive system, match ups, and now resources here.

It should be a fun ride with lots of upside.
Kick FG on the opening drive. With a competent offense now, we will have many other chances.

Feel of the game on the others. (I hate saying analytics)
He did 10 years of coaching rehab to get the benefit of last season and earn this opportunity. I think we get his best until he wins one. After that, hopefully Saban or Mrs Terry can keep him focused on doing it all over again, and again.
