Is he not from Port Allen (immediately across the river) and played golf for LSU? I believe since he has been "promoted", he is playing the same game as everyone else on ESPN these days.... which sucks in my opinion..... He was on SEC network with Doering and always gave LSU props like Doering did with Florida.

It won't be the younger folks that initiate that change, it will take people like you. You realize if that VP is almost 70, they were shaped by someone who entered the work force over 80-90 years ago? I am a business consultant and used that on a couple of owners that had worked together for over 40 and mentioned they were following the same procedures from 60 - 70 years ago. It has been tough sledding, but they have started to have more open discussions after that.

Yep, was when Bama game was in delay. Thought I saw that difference on the first pass through, so watched purposely the second pass through. He didn't look up at all compared to them and he was definitely slower than both.

A week ago, the conference clutched its pearls over a halftime quip from LSU Tigers coach Lane Kiffin amid a since-resolved player eligibility dispute. It's telling that conference commissioner Greg Sankey hasn't kept the same energy for the Texas Longhorns.
If Sankey were truly concerned about a lack of institutional control at SEC universities, he should — at the very least — save a strongly-worded letter for Texas, reminding it that there's no place in the conference for its recent conduct. That is, unless he thinks Kiffin attempting to follow a court order is a greater sin.

Agreed. Even fairly presents some things LSU has been involved in over the last several years that are questionable in a lot of people's opinions.

That is the difference with him or whomever is truly great at it. They are built for all of the rules (or lack thereof) right now. That’s why I think Lane stays for quite some time.

He said he was against pro players on Game Day. He's probably just shaking his head about all the extra going on though, both Kiffin's comment and the over reactions to it.
