Best of luck to Myles, he is a true Tiger and always will be.
He’s a quitter. Like Ja’marr chase & Stingley, huh

The reality of this disaster will be evident by week 3.

4 more months of practices and games that's not leading anywhere for you when you can be off doing what you want. What does he really have to gain? He probably knows the NFL won't happen for him now and if 2 other people are in front of him, really good chance he doesn't see a snap. Not really worth it. He gave 5 years, that's enough.

Not getting the starting job (the only reason he came back) would definitely be that. At that point, they just want to get on with their lives.
I’m sure he would have wanted to have been the hero and run out epically on the field like Burrow did against Texas A&M on Senior Night… that whole night felt like a movie.

You’ve got a good point Lester. Stingley still hasn’t recovered from “quitting” last year. Didn’t play in their first preseason game because of the quit in his foot.
Chase is back in our good graces because he’s still good.

Spoiled rich kid . Small frame , slow on his feet . Would have had to work on his progressions instead of hunting camp BS .
At this level the game is highly competitive .
Good riddance . We finally have a real coach like Saban , who will tell you to “ fish or cut bait “ or like the USMC says “ $hit or get off the pot .”

I wonder if no decision was made about who the starter would be for sure. This could have merely been the result of a performance discussion where he was just told that he wouldn’t be the starter. All those guys in the qb room sit and watch the same practice film and hear what the coaches say. Probably saw the writing on the wall.

I'm sure I'll get fried for this, but ...
This is MAJOR PU$$Y move!! "I didn't get the starting job so I quit."
There is no concept of TEAM any more in team sports.
Be a MAN, son. Hold the clip board, be ready to play if called, help the team win in any way you can.
I liked Brennan, but this diminishes my respect for him in a big way ...

Maybe he will coach
—He wouldn’t have the players respect given his decisions the last 2 years

And if coach would’ve put you in I’m sure you would’ve won state! Stfu

He did contribute in 2019.. Been a high level QB in HS and NCAA forever thanks Myles

Realize this is old news now but just seeing it. Wow. Remember when he was the projected starter before Burrow transferred?

The stars were aligned for Brennan in the spring of 2018.
They were. He had a shot at 2 quality years as a starter as well. 20 was a shitshow and IMO he did well before injury. The off-season injury was a killer. Not up to speed on the gossip but IIRC it seemed preventable.
I trust/hope BK is in win now mode and named the best starter

Except for a decent OC.

I agree. I don’t know why some are upset that he stepped away. HE WASNT GOING TO START OR CONTRIBUTE IN ANY WAY SO WHATS THE POINT IN STICKING AROUND?...let the young guys get the reps and takeover. He should have transferred if he really wanted to play or walked away 6 months ago..

I don't think that's right. We'll be 3-0 and top 20'ish by week 3.

I wish brennan all the best.
4 star kid. Broke passing records for the sate of Mississippi
Had offers from 18 schools including
Oklahoma st.
Mississippi state
Ole miss
Cal
I really think had it not been for injury in 2”2020 and the. the broken arm in 2021, he would have started here for at least season and maybe gone on to nfl but maybe he doesn’t even want that.
Sometimes we try to convince ourselves that we want something but we get our eyes opened in wierd ways.
He’s a homeboy imo. He’s the best qb that never got to shine here at lsu.
I wish him well.
