I am pulling for him to win the starting job. This will be his sixth year here and has stuck it out and competed. He looked great until his injury. Would be awesome to see him come back and light it up for one year and get drafted.

Obviously I want best man to win job. If that’s not him then he shouldn’t start. I just hope he does.

Why are so many of you in the "he earned it bc he waited his turn" crowd?

In this day and age of CFB, if you have to this long to play then you probably aren't the guy.

I doubt we'll be waiting for Howard's 6th year to see him reach his potential

I want the guy that gives lsu the best chance to win to start,

I fricking hate what this is going to inevitably become- everyone will pick a guy and then shite on the other one.

We're lucky to be in this position at all. May the best man win. I hope they both reach their full potential

May the best man win. I will say that I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't start after the potential I saw from him 2 years ago.

The thing is, he was "the guy" and was doing playing well until injury. Then the unfortunate off the field broken arm incident cost him another year.

Of course we all want the best QB out there on Saturdays but I'd also like to see a guy like Myles go out on a strong note.

He got hit by injuries two years in a row, and sat behind Burrow who is the greatest college level QB of all-time. I think he’s a special case when it comes to taking so long to get his turn to start.

that's misleading.

Burrow was brought in ONLY BECAUSE Brennan wasn't good enough to start, even with only Narcisse and McMillian as his competition.

It's not like Burrow was already here when Brennan arrived and he got stuck down on the depth chart.

In the spring of 2018, Burrow wasn't here and it was Brennan's job to lose, and he couldn't get it done.

He hasn't taken live snaps in 2 years and even when he did he couldn't last more than 3 games.

So no, he was never "the guy" because he didn't finish the season and I think everyone would agree, that there wasn't a ton of competition in the QB room.

A young Nuss, TJ and MJ shouldn't have beaten out Myles.
Staying healthy is a part of the game and lets not act like Myles was exceptional in those starts.

I hope it's Myles too.

But if any QB on the roster (or maybe not on the roster yet) gives us a .0000001% better chance to win, then take your seat Mr. Brennan.

Not a good look out there with him scrambling. That's a sure-fire way to get him hurt and out of the running for starter, before serious practice begins. He's no Vince Young.

This is not what was said, what was said is that he is pulling for him. There is a huge difference.
