There was also that little episode where he quit the team and only came back when his main competition, Max, left.

Embellish much, team was upside down with no HC, it's not like he was transferring because of qb competition MJ was already gone.

that's misleading.

He would have played had Burrow not come down. Frame it how you want to, but nobody was beating Joe out once he got here. Joe was looking to leave OSU and could have went anywhere. He found us just as much as we found him.

MB was then posed to take the job after DE and then BDJ shows up. MB didn't complain he competed.
again, that's incorrect.

In spring of 2018, the QB job was Brennan's to take. Burrow WAS NOT HERE. Brennan's only competition was Narcisse and McMillian. Obviously, Orgeron didn't think Brennan was up to the task, which is why he went out and got Burrow as a transfer. And remember, Burrow was NOT in demand - his only other shot was Cincinnati.

So Burrow was NOT here when Brennan had his shot at locking up the starting job, and it's untrue to say Brennan had the misfortune of just getting stuck behind Burrow.

Brennan couldn't lock up the job in spring 2018, that's why Burrow was brought in.

we win championships with qb's that can scramble.

myles isn't one of those.

doubtful. O knew Brennan wasn't the man for the job, that's why he went after a transfer. If Burrow had gone to Cincinnati, O would've gotten someone else.

again, not true. I believe the only other serious suitor for Burrow was Cincinnati. No one knew Burrow was what he was.

Nebraska, UF, Cincy and LSU were the major schools that were rumored to be in the fold. In the end, Joe only asked permission to visit Cincy and then LSU. He visited both and decided on LSU quickly. Other schools reached out but shut it down after visiting.

Let me say this. I want Daniels to win because his skill set is exactly what Kelly and Denbrock have been using for a long time now. With that said, I still think Brennan at the helm will be damn good.

With Brennan I can still see a top 3-4 passing offense in the SEC (which would equate to a top 25 passing offense in the country), however with Daniels, I could see a legit dangerous offense, a more dynamic offense.

Dude, he already knew he was going to lose 1 or 2 of the 3 QBs and he did. You don't know what O could have gotten had Joe went elsewhere and it is totally pointless to even speculate something like that because only retards do that but you do you.

Ok keep believing that shite. Nobody wanted Joe? Are you fkng serious? Joe shut it down on his 2nd visit. He stopped at Cincy on the way down here to spend the weekend. Plenty of people knew what he was but nobody knew how great he would be. Just STFU. You look like an idiot.

I just dont get the love for Myles Brennan, Im sure he is a good kid and i love nothing more than to see a kid stay and compete rather than leave. However when the pocket collapses he is a deer in the headlights, he lacks having the ability to bail out the pocket and make plays with his legs, yea the arm is strong and all that but....

OP post feels reminiscent of Jarret Lee

I want the guy who will carry us to a win without embarrassing the school. Give me whoever that guy is.

He got hit by injuries two years in a row, and sat behind Burrow who is the greatest college level QB of all-time. I think he’s a special case when it comes to taking so long to get his turn to start.

Everyone can take a lesson from Kyle Trask from Florida!

Has football changed that much since 2019? It took Burrow five years before having one of the greatest seasons ever.

But if any QB on the roster (or maybe not on the roster yet) gives us a .0000001% better chance to win, then take your seat Mr. Brennan.

This fricking guy would bench a sixth-year year senior for a rando in the portal if Brennan is only 99.9999999% the player that the rando is.

Genius.
