I seriously never got the hate for this guy. I think it boils down to I just don’t get why people care enough about the guy to hate him.

They think they are getting cool-guy points.

I can't wait for the fanbase to do a complete 180 and melt about Brennan being too heavy.

I mean, the dude looked better at 175! He’s essentially put on 40lbs of fat and 5lbs of muscle over the past 4 years. I get it, he has an amazing arms, But Jesus- being an elite QB involves so, so, much more. Do you think gaining 20lbs of fat makes him more durable for some reason???

That's not going to help his mobility

No it's not good, he is on the diet plan from "Super Size Me" Seriously, he looks like he should be on the PGA tour with that physique. That isn't the build a Div I college athlete in any sport should have.

From this point forward I'll refer to him as John Daly Jr.

Read all 5 pages of Rantards jaw-jackin about a football player's physique and finally found someone with the right question.

What restaurant is that?

LOL! That is a pretty accurate portrait of the current physical shape Brennan is in.

Brennan never was built like a weight room warrior, he was always soft, but he has now hit the upper levels of softness on any scale I know of.

Bad picture, bad angle. He might need to lose a few pounds, since he's likely been inactive with his injury, but this is a joke thread.

with a great performance against Mizzou

Lol LSU went 0-10 on 3rd down

LSU was +4 in Turnovers and still couldn’t out score frickin Missouri

LSU scored TDs twice on short fields, one at the 25, & one starting at the Mizzou 5.

Great performance my arse

I don’t get the “arm fat” interpretation. That just looks like muscle to me. His face doesn’t look fat either. It seems like he wearing a big shirt and leaning forward so it looks like he’s thick in the middle. I doubt that’s actually the case or some pussy on here would have already spread a rumor that he gained weight. You know a lot of people see these guys on a daily basis and no one has said he’s fat before.

I do enjoy seeing the typical idiots on here melt away. This place is worse that a sewing circle for gossip.

Some of you are insane, his target goal was 220 if I'm remembering correctly. Beating that by 20 pounds would be ridiculous

Brennan went for 430 yards and 4 TD with 0 picks, you dont have to be a rocket scientist to realize that's a heck of a performance. Again especially considering he had a torn ab for most of the game after a big hit he took.

To put even more stats behind it, PFF graded Brennan out at a 90.7 overall that game, that's elite. They gave him 6 big time throws and 0 turnover worthy plays, that's elite. He accounted for 20 1st downs that game, that's elite. He was pressured on 18 of his 51 dropbacks, that's being pressured on 35% of his pass attempts, which is bad, and he still put up 430 yards, with 6 big time throws, 4 TDs and 0 turnover worthy plays with NO RUNNING GAME. That's elite.

You are absolutely clueless, that was a great game form Brennan, but you are trying to cherry pick a thing or two to take that away from him. More than half of those 3rd down situations were 3rd and longs. In fact 6/10 were 3rd and 8 or longer, most being 10+ yards. One of them, a 3rd/13, he completed a pass for 8 yards to set up a 4th/5 in Mizzou territory, which he completed a pass on to continue the drive and we scored a TD on it (threw a TD pass).

He was pretty amazing in Mizzou game with what he did with so little support he got. Especially considering he did it mostly with a torn ab in the game. The stats and grades dont lie there.
