95% of nationwide alumni aren’t big-money donors. The big-money donors make up a small percentage of actual donations to LSU. Those donors, like Lipsey, hold a lot of clout and have already made their voices heard. I have no clue who the OP is. But I applaud them for taking a stand with his they feel about the direction of the university. That is what “protecting the university” truly means.

Right. I never said or insinuated it did, nor should it. There’s been a LOT of mistakes made by the current administration, some of which are just beginning to come to light. This member seems to think our biggest concern is Wade. It isn’t. He’s just the current issue.

Yeah, I remember when they were calling for Alleva's head after he hired Orgeron but a 10-win season put that to rest until about a month ago. Do you think people would be making these threats if Will Wade had not been suspended? I hardly think so.

You think the people that hated the O hire love him and Alleva after last year??
The timing of this campaign couldn’t have been worse. The geniuses in charge maybe should have delayed it a month or two until this blew over. But they make dumb decisions frequently.
For what it’s worth, I, along with many other alumni, have disliked Alexander and Alleva long before the Wade debacle. I haven’t donated to the University since 2015 when FKA first stick his nose in things he knew nothing about. When he’s gone, I’ll donate again.
The current situation is a symptom of a bigger problem.

The Orgeron hire is looking pretty good these days. You had to know they would find something else to complain about. If it wasn’t the Wade thing I without a doubt know they would have found something else.
You would think with all the people who quit donating after the O hire now this time LSU is probably broke by now. Lol.

I’m sure Joe Alleva and F King are packing their shite as I type this.
Try hundreds of thousands and get back to me. I sent a similar letter directly to Alexander and was sent a reply about what he could do to make it better. Of course endowment and college of engineering for the ones that are suffering and my case.
