Must match Alabama's intensity

More times than not in this match up they seem to be playing this game like their lives depend on it and end up killing us. I hope Lane has us confident and prepared to punch hard and keep punching. Cannot be intimidated.

Deboer’s teams will never come close to the intensity of Saban’s
They have loads if talent but are softer than Bama teams of old

Have you watched Alabama? They are not intimidating at all. LSU is clearly the better team and just needs to execute and not shoot themselves in the foot.
Put pressure on Russell all game, their offense can't adjust.

They’ve killed us because more times than not they have better talent and better coaching. Look at the 2019 year. That was a year that we had excellent offensive and defensive coaching. We were loaded with talent, more so than any other time in history. And the margin basically came down to Joe Burrow being better than Tua. And Tua was great!

They’re gonna have to match our intensity.
Our defense has been playing pissed off lately. Offensive line too.

Tell me you haven't watched a Bama game all year, without telling me you haven't watched a Bama game all year.

That game was not as close as the score indicated.

Russell is a much better passer than Brown but can be erratic when constantly pressured, he really struggles on the road.
It's simple really, keep him from running all over you and don't turn the ball over and LSU wins.

Saban's teams would get away with personal fouls against us because they did them often enough for the refs to not call every one of em. Kind of like the Razorbacks 40 mins of hell in basketball where they got away with a million fouls due to referee's and foul fatigue.

In the past with Saban they just had more talent and depth and coaching than we did.It has evened out the last year with LK.LSUs talent and coaching is much better this season compared to the BK and later Os last 2 teams. The Tigers still need to prove they can beat and play Bama in TS like they did in 22.Like I posted b4 the AU game this game will come down to Blake’s gameplan, his defense against 2 of the better QBs on our schedule ,Ken’s,OMs,wasn’t to good and Alabamas is very good at both running and throwing.BB needs to stay agressive and not play not to lose.

I agree. I was at that game, and it felt better than the score. Also, Bama never had the ball in the fourth quarter with a chance to take the lead. They had that in common with the other 14 teams LSU played. Florida actually had the ball down seven with about 13 minutes left. That’s the best any team did that year.

I don't see that as a problem. This team is finally smelling blood and they want more.

LSU is the better team, and Nick Saban ain't walking out those doors and this is not Nick Saban's Alabama.

That will be part of it. Another part will be Leavitt’s tendency in our losses to turn the ball over. Alabama has a good offense. They will probably score a fair amount. Our offense needs to outpace them, and our defense needs to get about three stops per half (not counting a end of half stop due to time), and make them settle for a couple of FGs.

This is not Saban’s bama.
This is not BK’s LSU.

The team that came closest to pulling it off against us in 2019 was fricking Auburn.
Say what you want about them but they’ve got to be the biggest giant killers in CFB.

I have the want to make Bama have to try and fail to match OUR intensity!

As much as I like Saban and what he did for LSU, what you want to bet he picks Alabama over LSU to appease Bama fans.
