I think Miami beats Notre Dame but it will be close.
Would love for #8 Kentucky to polish off #16 Tennessee, but the Vols have a legit defense and mediocre offense.
Pulling for #2 UGA to curb stomp #12 Ole Miss
We should beat #9 Bama
I think #19 Missouri can keep it close against #10 Texas but I think Texas wins.
#11 Ohio State and Oregon are both playing backup QBs and have looked quite different. Give Ohio State the edge being at home.

Neal Brown would succeed at Tulane. Sheppard isn't leaving Oregon State for Tulane. That's a lateral move at best. Sonny Cumbie is doing well at LA Tech so I don't see him moving laterally to Tulane. He will have a choice of jobs before long unless he is committed to staying in Ruston. My son has enjoyed his football camps during the summers.

Pulling for UGA

I am hoping that all important players are back for both teams.

I'm hoping the off week allowed TreyDez Green to get back to full health and hopefully Whit Weeks can be on the field too. I wouldn't expect him to play every down but he is such an important piece of what LSU does and is definitely the heart and soul.

Actually, Bama is decent running the ball at 151 yards a game. Better than they were last year at 104 a game. But that is more because of Russell running the ball too, and they do have pretty good RBs.

That being said, I am confident in our DL's ability to manhandle their OL. I think they might handle Weston Davis on our right side of our OL, and probably get some push against the guards, but Moore and Seaton are rock solid. Hopefully Satterwhite/Bordelon/Bah are up to the task.

I don't think their WRs are as good as people think, except for RCW. Lock in Pickett on him all day and their passing game is all but neutralized unless they involve the TE a lot.

Where Alabama really shines is turnover margin. They do a great job of creating turnovers on aggressive DB play.
Leavitt seems to have corrected his turnover woes but this could be a different animal.
LSU has better edge rushers and interior DL than A&M yet A&M had Russell on the run a lot of the game.
Leavitt will face a really good defense that can be taken advantage of with their aggressiveness. Will LSU spy Russell? Will Bama spy Leavitt?
There's been so much parity in the SEC this year it's unreal.

I think this game stays close for most of the game, and I expect both Leavitt and Russell to break a couple nice runs.

I just think LSU scores a late 4th quarter TD or FG to put it out of reach.
