Brennan does NOT have a stronger arm than Burrow, and neither does Haskins. And no big deal.

Brennan and Haskins absolutely do have stronger arms than Burrow. There’s no need to take it personally or as an insult to Burrow.

Any discussion of arm strength in the SEC should at least mention Danny Wuerffel shredding good defenses.

Brennan does but I'll take Burrow everyday and twice on Sunday.
Why did you ask this question and why does it matter to you that much?
Brennan has a big arm but he will have to become more accurate when he's under pressure. That's what I've noticed about him.

The last time Brennan was called on to deliver balls that needed to be catchable was in HS where he had an almost 80% completion rate and a career total of 165 TD passes to 25 ints. Are you saying that those little high school receivers that none of which are playing D1 ball are that much more capable of catching Brennan’s passes then the LSU receiver corp? I didn’t think so. Brennan passes have more velocity then Burrow’s and he can put touch on it when necessary. You don’t throw for 15,000 yards and 165 tds by not being able to throw a catchable ball.

You don't know the difference between touch, and arm-strength.

Touch is a much, much more difficult way to throw a football. But far, far more effective. Most QBs never master it, mainly because if you haven't developed it in your youth, you probably never will.

Enjoy watching Burrow set the all-time completion % record for college football (even though you have NO F'N CLUE how he is doing it)

Almost 80% completion rate? No he didn't.

Brennan's HS stats:

Excuse me.. my mistake.
So Brennan only threw for
“Almost” 70%
In “Almost” 1500 attempts
However,
My premise stands.
He throws a catchable ball.
Just as catchable as Joe.
And Brennan has had the benefit to learn from Joe for 2 years. Invaluable to his success and he knows it.
Brennan will be great because he remained humble and sat behind Joe and soaked it all in. Most young QBs have to pay a lot for that kind of education.

I think you mean single season. Last season will probably impact the all time award

I’ve seen Burrow throw with everything he has down the field. I’ve seen him throw with touch. Most of the time, he doesn’t prefer to fire in there, but on some of the deep routes this season , he needed to put forth full effort.

Get over yourself. You’re not some football savant seeing things no one else can.

Don’t forget Ryan Perrilloux and his arm strength. I remember watching he and JaMarcus pre game stretching out their arms with JaMarcus throwing 80 yard bombs and Perrilloux right behind him throwing balls 70+ yards in the air.

Ibelieve our receivers catching 10,000 balls over the summer again will make Brennan just as good. Last season Joe would have been great all season if the receivers would have caught the ball like they have done this year. HARD WORK HAS PAIDED OFF FOR EVERYONE

We are enjoying probably the best, so far, one year QB performance in college history and the success LSU is having with it. Hopefully Brennan can come close. His arm talent is as good or better no matter what you say. It’s the brain and moxie that’ll tell the tale because Joe has that in spades

Maybe, just maybe if you quit acting like a 12 year old and just roll with the punches you wouldn’t get fricked with so much

But Brady is going to have a lot to say about Brennan’s development in 2020.

He can’t be written off. He will add more than 5 lbs and who knows
Brady gonna put weight on him??? Arm strength all Brennan

Can we finish this season first? Probably have some grad transfer before next year.
