lol, it is amazing to me how hard people can try to be offended on this forum.

Tom Brady and Joe Montana will never be considered anywhere near the converation of most "live arm" talent. But, they just happen to sit at the very top of GOAT QBs.

Meanwhile, you have Jamarcus, Jeff George, Kerry Collins....

Arm talent in only a pre-requisite. Field vision, leadership/swag and composure are essential to enable the physical talent.

I seriously doubt anyone here can answer this question with any first hand knowledge. Most people are going to use cliches and preconceived notions they’ve heard on the rant to demise that Brennan definitely has a stronger arm than joe

Might be true, might not be, but I doubt many people here have seen them throw side by side enough to make an accurate comparison

Ummm, we have practice film and more than enough game film on both. Including side by side.

Brennan has a noodle for an arm. All of you saying Brennan has any advantage over Burrow are crazy. Hopefully CEO is actively monitoring the transfer portal bc we aren't winning more than 7 games if he's our QB1 next year.

Baseball analogy:

Brennan 95-99 mph fastball (doesnt always know where the ball is going)

Burrow: 85-90 mph fastball (always in the zone)

With Brennan it's not so much arm strength (which he has in spades) but that his release is very quick. He can cock and release quite a bit quicker that Burrow. It is obvious from watching them both throw. MB just needs to refine his touch some more.

so brennan has a 59.3% career % in such limited action during his career.

so burrow had a 57.8% completion % year last season at LSU.

Joe's in his 5th year as a college player.
Next year will be Myles' 4th.

Yet you have the crystal ball on every answer of what they are to be?

Live arm talent is at least something that can be seen and essentially measured with the eye.

Feel like we heard this a lot in spring and fall camp. Burrow was clearly the starter, but Brennan had the arm to make throws maybe Burrow couldn't.

Brennan does in fact have a stronger arm. It may not mean much but its the truth.

Burrow has EVERY pitch - can clip corners with every pitch. ALSO, has a 99 mph fastball when he NEEDS it... which is almost never.

A QBs objective is to complete passes... not to show the cheerleaders (and sportscasters) how hard he can throw a ball.

Brennan has a cannon, but the touch on his passes needs to drastically improve. There have been a few drops this year when he was playing mop-up duty because he rifled the ball to the WR. I have faith in Joe Brady, though.

Cardale Jones, without a doubt. But Jones also chooses to throw with touch.
