Burrow is on course to set the all-time record for completion percentage - in the history of college football - and dudes want to talk about how hard a QB throws a ball...
BTW, hard throws are very hard to catch in cold or damp weather - and they lead to many picks... textbook tip-drill interceptions.

OBJ also has a cannon of an arm...just sayin

Burrow's mobility will be a huge miss probably with the transition to Brennan. Not sure if Myles has any wheels or not.
He’s probably just as fast as JB, but JB’s on a different level.. He sees the field like no other, and combined with his fearlessness, that’s what makes him a great runner.. JB isn’t actually that fast.. That said, I think we will use MB less in the running game..

seriously doubt anyone here can answer this question with any first hand knowledge. Most people are going to use cliches and preconceived notions they’ve heard on the rant to demise that Brennan definitely has a stronger arm than joe
They throw side by side before every game, and in every practice.. You’re smarter than this..

Overall arm talent: Burrow. Throws from crazy angles and after quick resets and on the run with accuracy. Can throw with zip or touch. Good and getting the ball "up and down" to fit over a defender in a short zone.
Arm Strength: Brennan.
Arm Strength: Brennan.

Meanwhile, you have Jamarcus, Jeff George, Kerry Collins....
Yet Aaron Rodgers & even Pat Mahomes in only his 2nd year as a starter look like future Hall of Famer's. They both have cannons.

Joe Burrow is a little bit like Alex Smith.

With Brennan it's not so much arm strength (which he has in spades) but that his release is very quick. He can cock and release quite a bit quicker that Burrow.
Brennan has a release like Tua. And he has the toughness. The problem is confidence.
The boy needs some grown woman put on him. Simple as that.
He just lacks confidence at the moment.
But he has a fricking cannon for an arm.
It's the Brady vs Brett Favre argument.

I masturbated a lot as a teen. I've got some lively arm talent.

Arm talent, Brennan.
leader, game manager and understanding of the RPO = Burrow

I'm just saying. As a young buck you think you're 10ft tall and bulletproof until you get humbled.
He needs a reminder that he can do whatever he puts his mind too.

Brennan puts some major fricking RPMs on his throws.
Love watching that dude throw a football.

quote:frick you are unbearable, Joe is receiving UNIVERSAL praise, and you still cant support, or be positive regarding LSU players. God damn I cant wait until January 15th.
Lame comparison.
Burrow could knock down a brick wall if he chose to. Burrrow throws with touch because he WANTS to. Not because he can't throw smoke,
Judge a QB by his ability to complete passes (at a high completion percentage) to every area of the field. NOT by his choice to throw hard when an underhand toss would be 5 times more effective.

The last real cannon we had was Zach Mettenburger and he was very good in spite of being slowed down by a bad knee for the whole season.....I'll never forget him at his last Arkansas game............

You don't know jack-shite about the passing game and no, I am not going to humor you.
Brennan does NOT have a stronger arm than Burrow, and neither does Haskins. And no big deal.
Throwing hard gets football dilettantes all damp in their panties. Actual football guys don't give a shite as long as they can make all the NFL throws, and complete them at a high rate.
