This list has a lot of problems. Sampson has been fired twice because of issues with the NCAA. Pitino was fired for all of the goings on at Louisville. Crean got fired at Georgia. Martin got fired at Missouri. Tubby just stepped down at High Point; he is too old. Nobody on this list is coming to LSU, and I am glad.

This - and he likes big splash/big name hires. However he'll have to sell someone under different circumstances for this one. Though I think he's been planning this since he got here and likely this circumstance was likely expected.

How about they save their money and only bring in walk-ons or players who’s parents are going to donate large sums of money to the university….Used the saved up money to help build the new arena and when they are coming off sanctions, they hire a new coach and start the program back up.
