On the field he isn’t getting it done and thats all that matters.

The guy who threw for 5 TD's in a half last week is not getting it done?

A guy with an efficiency rating of 179 and is averaging over 300 yards a game even though he has only played 6 quarters?

He is doing a good job this year.

I don't see him as a NFL QB, but to say he isn't a good college QB is dumb

I'm not a big fan of Kiper. Doesn't seem to know much more that an educated fan. He just talks emphatically and people think he knows what he's talking about.

Isaiah Foskey for the Saints had incredible production at ND. If you were Saints GM would you trade him for Smith right now?

How dumb are you?

I'll be happy for him. This thread Is about projection and that is where I think he would go

The idea that Daniels was ever an NFL QB was always misguided at best, and delusional at worst.

Depends on what you mean NFL QB. Preseason he was on big boards as
Top 10 qb. I don’t think I ever saw him higher than 7th I think. Which really isn’t a “high draft pick” but a draft pick nonetheless. Does he get a shot if he doesn’t shite the bed this season, yes. Will he be the starting QB on an NFL roster. That’s pretty unlikely.

Absolute Cannon for an arm, freak athleticism, built like a linebacker.

I was absolutely terrified of Richardson when the Gators visited Tiger Stadium in '21. The dude was on another planet athletically, throwing and running. I've never felt that way about JD.

Luckily, LSU ran 40 consecutive counter plays in the second half and Richardson was a bystander.

Missing are Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers.

I suppose Nabers, like Boutte, has just quit also.
Strange aura around this team.

Joe Burrow was projected to be a 5th round pick.

Joe Burrow only had one year as a starting QB, when that evaluation was made.
How many of the WRs in 18, made an NFL roster?
How many in 19?

Do you think JDs throwing stats were horrible last year?

Missing Malik Nabers

4 went 1st round last year, and 6 in the first in 2022. He will be 2nd day pick if he leaves

Malik Nabors is going to be drafted high. I don't follow college football in enough depth to know if there are 10 WR better than him, but it seems doubtful. Some team might take a flyer on JD thinking that if he washes out as QB, his talent might let them turn him into a RB or slot receiver type and use him as a special teams standout.

Nabers looks great. He really worked hard this offseason. He is moving different. Have to find a way to get him more involved. I have a hard time believing he’s not always open with the way he is moving

Mel "I'll see you at Mike Williams Hall of Fame Induction" Kiper didn't put people on his top 10 list? Tragic

I prefer the Mel “I’ll retire if Clausen isn’t in the NFL in 10 years” Kiper. Mainly because I wished he kept his word

Mel isn’t the best , but I was assured that JD5 would be a top draft pick , Kiper must have not gotten the memo .
