If you think Daniels is anywhere near as talented as Richardson you’re proving that posters point.

That's not what I said. I'm obviously not saying Daniels has as much natural talent as Anthony Richardson. But if I'm thinking of an imaginary scale where somehow Richardson is drafted 4th overall then JD would have to be somewhere in the draftable range.

Do the pre-season Pumpers admit they were a little too optimistic? Esp. on JD5?

Joe Burrow was projected to be a 5th round pick.

try to keep up... this thread is about draft projections in pre-season. He was rated 8th best qb and a 5th round pick.

Jayden Daniels was 2nd in Pre-Season Heisman odds.

We were too Pessimistic on Joe, too Optimistic on Jayden.

I dont recall anybody in here pushing JD5 as a top 5 NFL QB prospect. So stop with the BS... if you dont personally like JD5, just be direct about it. Stop nit-picking BS off the internet to fuel your dislike/hate for the kid.

kind of early to have final judgement on JD.

JB spoiled our fans...if we wouldn't have had the year we did in 2019 JD would get more love

Lmao. Bro an arse load of people were saying he’s a round 1 lock. And stfu about hating him. No one here knows him personally. On the field he isn’t getting it done and thats all that matters.

what a dumb statement. you must be 18 tops and have no memory of qb play at LSU prior to Burrow

At best JD5 will be an undrafted free agent and maybe make a practice squad at best.

Context of "seems" was not about his accuracy in the original post.

He's a senior who has started every game of his entire career.

Are you saying he just needs more time?

pocket passer my arse lol. His throwing stats from florida are terrible. JD has actually been a much better QB statistically in pretty much every single way. This isn’t me arguing that JD will be a nfl QB cuz I don’t think he will, just pointing out that this is a ridiculous narrative that Richardson is some great passer which he most certainly is not.

i am saying idk how he will finish in NFL scouts eyes. I hope he finishes well and moves up the board. I also think we can have a great season even if he doesn't shoot up the draft board. I really don't care about his draft status I care about wins this year.

I think most people agree with that. But Richardson meets the measurables that NFL GMs have been in love with for years. It has bitten them in the arse for decades and likely will here.

You can not agree with it, yet understand it.
