You volunteering for the job?

Coaching in the NFL is hard. Much harder than being a HC in today's collegiate landscape with a huge NIL advantage.

Fine, you convinced me. I hope Arkansas hires him

Brohm gets the nod from me

I'll let the board know they can shut the search down then.

if you do not think gruden has a real good offensive mind you are football ignorant. does not mean he would pan out as that all depends on mant factors. many coaches can fail in the not for long NFL yet succeed in college

I never said he wasn't a good offensive mind. I think he is a great offensive mind. I just don't think he is a good head coach.

He coached 15 seasons in the NFL: Only 6 of them were winning seasons. the other 9 he finished with a .500 record or worse
quote:

he's done nothing? nothing at all?

He won a SB in his 1st year in Tampa, with Tony Dungy's team, and then got progressively worse until he was canned by the team he won a SB with. His 2nd stint in the NFL with the Raiders he never won over 8 games in a season. His overall coaching record is 117-112 (51.1% wins).

Jeff Fisher has a better overall winning percentage (173-165, 51.2%) than Gruden yet people act like Gruden is great but wouldn't touch Fisher.
His overall coaching record is 117-112 (51.1% wins)

For comparison Jeff Fisher has a better overall winning percentage (173-165, 51.2%) and literally nobody wants him coaching their team.

Clear Eyes.
Full Hearts.
Cant' Lose.
He is basically the opposite of Burrow.

Burrow kept Ed employed longer than he should have been and is currently keeping Zac Taylor employed longer than he should be
He has never coached in college and has a career record of 117-112; winning a whopping 51% of his games.

which DC search? there have been so many..

Ed's 2nd DC search, after the Pelini return went so swimmingly

Mike Denbrock took a lateral job and left us

And played for a national title the year he left, while we were struggling for 9 wins.
OP really out here asking a bunch of baws from Louisiana to do math for him

Go Jeff Go. Tell it like it is.

We know. You're both fricking retards
Landry isnt smart enough to know that
Nick Saban was 43-26-1 when he left Michigan St for LSU
Les Miles was 28-21 when he left Oklahoma St for LSU
Ed Orgeron was 16-27 when he got the LSU job

They all won the SEC and National Championship in 3 years.

Brian Kelly was 263-96-2 when he left Notre Dame for LSU

He was fired in 3.5 years; never winning the SEC or a National Title.
