This is some terrible basketball by both teams.

The only winners today are the people not watching this garbage.

A poster was arguing yesterday that LSU should keep MM and use the buyout money for increased NIL

A decision on McMahon will be made at the end of the season after its all played out.

If the AD is waiting until the end of the season to make that decision then he is not doing his job. That decision should have already been made with the 3rd 1-7 start to SEC play in 4 years. The wheels should already be in motion on identifying the next HC and getting the financial resources together to make that happen

Instead of paying for a more expensive roster, we'll just be burning money for the buyout. For a fraction of the buyout, say $4M more NIL, we could get 2 more star players to play along with DJ. Those players will probably be able to get their own buckets regardless of the coach. I'd be all in on firing CMM if the buyout weren't so large, but since it is, I think the best course of action is another step up in the NIL.

South Carolina plays terrible defense.
That’s saying a lot coming from an LSU fan

I like the energy and intensity we’ve started with these first ten minutes

But wow, there is NO ONE in that arena today.

Found Moscona's TD account.

That dumbass was saying that on his locked on show the other day. It's the same exact stupid thing we heard last season and what they did going into this season and look how that's worked. Why keep throwing money at this shite show? The buyout for McMahon and his staff is just a little bit more than what the reported NIL money was for this year's team. Go ahead and bite the bullet and get it over with. Quit throwing good money at this terrible coach.

It's hard to take anyone with that line of thinking seriously.

Yea, these announcers are as bad as these teams. Sound like something you'd hear practicing in a media class.

We may get this win and the McMen will hang their hats on it. But the rest of us all know that it is a meaningless win in an already lost season.

I'm not convinced we get this win. If SC starts making some of their shots, they'll lose handedly. If they keep missing, it'll probably be fairly close, with LSU winning.

We have no problem playing one decent half of basketball. It's the other half that we struggle with.

What a crap end to the half. Had a chance for a two for one within the last minute but you can tell the players have no idea meaning they probably don’t work on that in practice.

McMahon is a total and complete joke.

This atmosphere and LSU's the other night are two of the most dead atmospheres I have seen in quite some time.

The level of frustration I had watching the state game was the highest level I hav felt since we laid an egg against Wisconsin in Lambeau.
Dumb arse Dumbo should have played Etling and we would have won.

As soon as he went in against Auburn, the Offense started moving the ball, but it was "Too Little, Too Late" and DAD got the axe on Monday.

What happened to Nwoko? The game changed course when he left-- LSU was stuck on stupid for about 4 minutes. We need his powerful presence inside to win this game

Even when things seem to be going well his teams find a way to mitigate the good play.

LSU shot 54% to SC’s 41%. 50% from 3 to SC’s 36%. Yet, it’s only a 1 point lead.

Why?…8 turnovers helping SC get 12 more FG attempts. Just about every year MM’s teams are at/near the bottom of the league in FG attempts. Like Michael Scott said, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take
