So you rather the QB with a 55% completion ratio throw it after he almost threw a pick the olay before?

Yall dumb.

I think BK having a play sheet and headset all but confirms Sloan is done after the season.
Sloan, Davis, Hankton and Wilson should all be gone. Maybe keep Atkins around and let him coach the Running Backs.

So then why did BK ask all the fans to pony up dough to buy him players for this year.

Did BK get good players for the OL? How about a seasoned RB?

I am not a fan of Sloan and not defending him. We just don't have the players. It is why you see former players such as Flynn pointing out that players aren't doing their jobs.

If we don't improve the caliber of the personnel we will be in the same boat next year regardless of who is calling the plays.

Hence my comparison regarding Baker last year vs Baker this year. Talent is the difference. Baker didn't just go from being very good at Missouri to suck at LSU year one, to back to being great. He has talent he did not have last year on this years team.

Lack of talent is our biggest problem.

Call all the crap you want to call. You have to teach the kids who to read and their progressions. If you don't you create indecision and late throws.

You're right, running twice with RBs in teh first half vs Ole Miss is great.

A 5th year sr not identifying cover 2 on that first play with 5 wide (3 high, 2 low) is unacceptable....

UNLESS, Sloan is teaching him something else to be looking for there....

which then makes Sloan unacceptable.

It's one or the other, and likely a bit of both.

And the kids have to be teachable and able to learn and to perform.

Read the article on ESPN about Jayden Daniels. Year 1 Kelly and Denbrock couldn't get him to do what they asked. Year 2 it clicked.

But, it doesn't always happen. Some players never get it despite coaching.

Saban has said this repeatedly,

"Some players learn from words. Some players learn from actions. Some players never learn."

You'd rather the play that got stuffed about 6 yards behind the line of scrimmage and you're calling other people dumb? Come on now...If you're gonna run the ball, how about something with a hint of creativity?

Also, just because a QB almost throws a pic, you can't play scared the rest of the game. If a QB scares a coach that much, then the backup needs to play.

You obviously didnt watch the play. That was one of the most creative plays on the night. It had motion, a HB draw/delay with the TE Pulling across the line to allow the RT to clear out the LB. If the TE and LT dont whiff, we walk into the end zone untouched.

So yes, I would rather us run that play than allow Nuss to throw an Int at the 1 yard line like he did last week.

Stop blaming Sloan for Nuss sucking.

Difference I don’t hate Nuss. I just know he’s not a good QB which I’ve been saying for three years. You hated Jayden

First off, players will struggle and make mistakes when the scheme is not working and they are having to continually flip back and forth. This is the stupidity of running a mix of gap and zone blocking with young OL.

That is on Sloan.

So Sloan can’t have an even decent offense unless he has a guy like JD and Campbell and E Jones on the line along with two 1st round WRs? What is the point of him if he can’t coach and seems to suck at recruiting?

This offense lost a lot but is not nearly the shithole of talent that the defense was. What you are saying though is that we can never expect both sides of the ball to be talented in a given year, right?

So, just more excuses for BK and Sloan.

At this point in 2007 Flynn had 5TDs and 4ints, you guys would be burning his house down.

Not sure what the point is as he’s not playing football in the video he’s giving his analysis in the video.

For LSU, between the 20s is the spot to try out new wrinkles. Not at a high leverage 2 pt play with the entire defense condensed.

Exactly who is supposed to TEACH these guys the concepts?

I thought he grew up with his dad who happens to be an NFL QB coach. He should know more than Sloan. If a team rush 3 and drop 8, STOP THROWING THE FREAKING BALL DOWNFIELD. Just a thought.

We scored on the same concept without the window dressing the play before. The rant's understanding of play calls is if they work or don't work.

No, I liked Flynn but if you compare the two statistically Flynn is inferior even during the 07 run so The Rant would be trashing him mercilessly.
