Where is the guy that said half the top 25 had no losses?

That was me…over a month ago (14 Jan) when I accurately said the following during Week 10 and you misquoted it incessantly:

“They’ve played 15-16 games and almost half the top 25 has zero or one loss. This is a sport where elite teams basically have 90% of their games wrapped up by halftime...”

At the time, 14 of the top 25 had zero or 1 loss. Admittedly, I think 4 lost that week before the Week 11 poll came out. But keep making things up.

Contrast the women’s top ten with the men’s top ten, where 7 teams have 5-6 losses. Top women’s teams lose less.

silly voter polls are a relic from decades ago. The champion is decided by the tournament.

Polls don't matter. Ignore them.

I wouldn’t say that. Outside of Carolina and LSU, the SEC basically stinks. PAC 12 has six teams in the Top 25.

The PAC12 is the strongest conference in WBB this season. Stanford, UCLA, Oregon State, Colorado, Utah, and SoCal are VERY good teams.

Stanford is not #3 team, they are overrated as usual.

They have better wins and the Pac-12 is much better than the SEC this year so it makes sense.

PAC 12 is easily the best conference out there and its not debatable. That said I think the Big 12 is overhyped and the media has tried so hard to keep Creighton in the top 25 for UCONN as a resume booster.

That said the polls dont mean shite, what matters is what the committee thinks. You have to finish strong the last two weeks and try to add on as much as you can in the SECT

ESPN definitely has something against CKM. When LSU was 16-1 and ranked number 4 overall in the Coach’s poll ESPN’s bracketology had LSU as a 3 seed which was complete garbage. And LSU was not even the highest ranked 3 seed.

Great news. There is a playoff and as long as your are in, it doesn’t matter.

This keeps getting repeated but, it's really only based on the polls. Last year, the exact same thing was said and the SEC ended up with four teams in the sweet sixteen, including Ole Miss' upset of Stanford in Palo Alto.

Right now, LSU is rated #9 in the NET. So, the SOS is not really what is determiner of how good they are. We're halfway through the conference season. Games in October and November, don't matter much at this point.

There sure was a lot of “Poa has to be our point guard going forward” after Poa’s great game last time out.

Yet Van Lith started last night and we were up by 31 before the refs picked A&M up off the mat. Poa had 4 turnovers in 19 minutes of play.

Really think AP poll has no idea what’s going on. PAC-12 has 7 teams on the top 25 and the SEC has only 2? Most of the top players transferred to teams in the SEC. I’m willing the bet the SEC is the most athletic league too. I’m calling a bunch of SEC teams as lower seeds advancing in the tournament.

It’s pretty obvious when watching Big 10 highlights (yes, every now and then I watch highlights of Caitlyn Clark’s games) and you can see the difference in “athleticism”.

Because the rest of the country sees what those not on purple and gold blinders see……this team is not good. They are lucky to be ranked as high as they are. We have no PG. Haley and Poa are space cadets half the time. Stupid turnovers. We don’t get rebounds. Outside of Morrow, we can’t shoot. Keep Angel away from the block and she’s obsolete. We may have led almost the entire SC game but were never in control. Defensively, they are horrible. Won’t win the SEC tourney and will be lucky to make it to 3rd Rd of NCAA tournament. Last year was a fun ride but it’s not happening again.

Trying to get an early start on dumbest post of the morning I see

quote:

We don’t get rebounds.

In conference games only, we lead the SEC in rebounding margin.

quote:

Outside of Morrow, we can’t shoot.

In conference games only, we are second in both scoring and field goal percentage.

And for a team with no PG, we're still 3rd in assist/turnover ratio.

Can you tell me where you found the conference-only stats? Everywhere I look I can only find the total season stats.

Also, the coaches have ranked LSU at #10..........and they probably should be higher............but they have a much better sense of how good this team is than the writers...

I really don't see Iowa making it back to the final four this year unless they give Clark's team a hell of a favorable draw.
