I grew up in a most tumultuous time but man it was glorious at the same time. There is not live and let live anymore.

Anyone that thinks that girl should even be in trouble for that should be ashamed of themselves. She quite obviously did not use the term in a derogatory context. And I do agree it was not smart in this day and age to do it. But nonetheless, if she gets in trouble for that, she needs to find video of football and basketball players saying the same thing in the same context and sue the university.
