That isn't what equity is.
Equity is intentional unequal treatment to hurt and cower you and help favored groups because that is what power wants.

Equity is exactly ruining a white person for the blasphemy of uttering a word forbidden to them while doing as near nothing as possible when blacks murder whites. It is the official ideology of every major institution in America. This is why every major institution in America must be overthrown or ground into dust.

The thing about it is, the term needs to be used by no one. She’s 18 and has probably heard it more in her life used as general language when referring to friends rather than it’s negative connotations. Her generation especially doesn’t understand the harm

If a university would suspend an athlete for saying this word it would present a glorious Project Veritas type video opportunity. Someone could surreptitiously record a group of black athletes from that school causally and repetitively using the same word. It would present and expose the hypocrisy of the school if the school did not treat these athletes in the same way as the suspended athlete.

Cool. So this should be standard for any athlete who says this word in public or social media then, no matter their race, correct?

Is that your roundabout way of saying black people are impulsive and predisposed to violence?

you cant co-opt a racial slur, to give you the ability to use it..

That’s exactly what black Americans have done with the word.

I’ll say it again, LSU posts highlight and hype videos to the tune of nba YoungBoy all the time

You know how many times in those same songs they post that he says n***a, talks about murder, drugs,etc..?

LSU is a joke

quote:

Why you drop that wack-arse song? Pussy bitch, you should've known (should've known) My daddy tell me, "Leave it 'lone, " but I'm like, "Man, frick them n****s" Used to frick with Gucci 'til I seen he like them pussy n****s (bitch) Momma know I'm ruthless, talkin' stupid, make me bust a n***a (boom) They know I'm on house arrest so they feel like they official Bitch, I kill you, then I take your whistle (yeah) God know I don't like you n****a

Glad LSU content team chooses such a lyrical genius like this young man. Geaux tigers !

Is that racist if the editor of that video is white? Is it racist if a white person enjoys hearing it?

My deal is it's not advisable to use the word at all. Soft a or hard r. It does have racist origins. It's perplexing to me that black people call each other that but hey it's a free country and who am I to judge.

But specifically regarding this situation it is ridiculous. Classic cancel culture. There was obviously no racial overtone it. Maybe the school could have reached out to her and advised her not to use that word. But to put out an official statement is disgusting and unfair. So a 20 year old girl said n***a? Omg. Who gives a shite!

I have no issue with LSU punishing a student athlete for public bad behavior.

I have an issue with them doing it publicly. Punish the student privately. Tell anyone that asks that you aware of it and it is being handled internally and no other comment will be made.

Do African Americans use that same language with impunity? Asking for a friend.

Yeah, as a coach, you just give the whole "we're handling this issue internally" response now that it's a story. You talk to the girl and tell her that it's not something you want to go around saying no matter how often and how casually you hear it said from others because once a video is posted, seemingly harmless actions can turn into a big pain in the arse for her/them. She may have been drinking or drunk too, but she clearly wasn't trying to insult or hurt anyone.

It's outside the coach's hands at this point.

They released a statement that in no way calls out the real issues. We live amongst animals.
