She’s in the Herget lobby. Lots of crazier things have happened there.

All in how you say it I guess. White kids who grow up with close black friends are really at risk. It’s become such a common phrase that they don’t even have awareness to the sensitivity. They sing all of the songs and speak the same slang.
I think this all the time seeing white kids and black kids hanging out because black kids push its usage and white kids go along and are ok with derogatory white terms being used as well. It’s all kids being kids and pushing boundaries including those negative white terms or stereotypes and the black ones until a 3rd party gets offended or the black kid gets mad for other reasons then it’s only the white kids that get demonized and suspended.
This kind of talk amongst black & white friends happened in the past as well, but how it was handled then was more civilized than the pitch fork social media mentality of today. Also in past if a black teacher or parent talked about not using the term he or she talked to both the black and white students equally about why both should not use it or promote its usage. No one was canceled or doxed by the likes of a hateful Ryan Clark type.

In this context it is accurate. LSU is a state institution.

Of all people, Theo Von has a pretty funny & relatable bit on this. It goes something along the lines that his black neighborhood friends would drop a line about "white privilege" this or that & how he was a part of it. Theo claps back with "dude, we're neighbors. What you think I got that you don't?"
This little girl is from Slidell. There's honestly a case for her that she legitimately does not know/understand the national climate of the soft N usage.

The fact is that there are different rules for different people. Whatever serves the agenda of the ptb is what will be supported.

This might not prove the point you are thinking you are proving.

Same with this.

Some of the same people that are offended by use of that term use it freely in referring to themselves.

Maybe these young kids will stop supporting a culcha that glorifies the word in their music.

quote:your talking about someone using any word that could be perceived as negative to a "stranger" and you don't know blacks and yes he has black friends, they call him n%&*a and he does back to them and its not perceived as negative by either side. Your problem is you think the word n%&&a is exclusive to blacks when it is NOT. It's a "bro" word. Women call each other ni%&a. Your making it worse than what it is lefty. Saying anything that can be perceived negatively to stranger of course could be a negative result. Your way to vague and this isn't what this is about. I hope she sues the shite out of whoever tries to question her right to free speech.

This looks like a big nothing burger.
That there are people of position giving this attention reflects more on them than on what the tennis player said (and TBH I couldn't even tell what she said).
There are some really small people with warped worldviews in places of leadership.

Can you say the word if you are half black ? What about if you are 1/4 black ?
Who/What draws the lines ? Who determines the rules ?
Asking for a multi racial friend.
