Interest rates are at all time low. We are about to get an additional 25-30 million/yr from the new tv deal and we are adding Texas and ou.

We need upgrades to the natatorium way before the PMAC. I hope it doesn’t get overlooked in all of this like it did when they redid the tennis/beach volleyball arena.

I’d much rather give the track facilities an overhaul. At least support the programs with a huge trophy case. The track program won 27 national titles without a locker room

With all the money LSU will be paying on former coaches & new coaches in football, combined with the $80 M deficit last year due to the China virus, no way LSU funds a new arena.

Kids flock to schools with old arenas... because the programs win and they help them get to the NBA. People flock to those arenas because those kids win. I say keep the practice facilities state of the art, remodel the PMAC when needed and replace it if/when it becomes more costly to repair than replace. People keep houses for decades, centuries, seems like the government can't keep a mostly empty box longer than 20 years without wanting to replace it.
