Yeah I don’t know what we’re doing right now. Both pickups are pretty bad so far. I guess it’s fine if they are death peaces but neither has peaked my interest. Reirreguardless, I hope we can get some SEC guys out of the portal.

It becomes less hard if you check the team stats page. That’s more useful information because it provides better context - how did teammates perform under the same level of competition.

He only allowed himself to be hit by a pitch ONCE. If he allowed himself to be HBP at the same rate as the most team
oriented player in Texas State (Jaquae Stewart), Park’s OBP rises to a team leading .418.
Jay used to love HBP. That could be one of the fixes Park needs. He also needs to strike out less (harder to fix).

You realize Texas St plays in the Sun Belt and the Sun Belt sent 5 teams to the NCAAT right (including Texas St)? That's more than the Big 10 and one fewer than the Big 12

Not trash but one of biggest pieces of the offseason is finding someone that can actually play SS
