I will note, the only downfall of this pickup is that he was kicked off the team in mid April and Texas state started playing better. Could be a potential locker room cancer

An altercation between 2 teammates often means the one to blame got kicked off.
I hope it was something like the kid that did not get kicked off hooked up with Dawson’s ex. Dawson would be right to respond that way, it would be right to boot him, and it’s unlikely to happen again.

Is that .387 OBP? That is low for a guy at Texas State that is 38 projected prospect.

I mean I definitely trust Jay and co to do their due diligence. I’m cautiously optimistic and hope it was just a one time thing cuz he looks to be like a great talent to fill a needed hole for us.

I trust Jay as well, but I also know that every good coach thinks “I can fix him” and a lot of times they can’t

Yeah I don’t know what we’re doing right now. Both pickups are pretty bad so far. I guess it’s fine if they are death peaces but neither has peaked my interest. Reirreguardless, I hope we can get some SEC guys out of the portal.
