Yeah Landon Hood is a freshman throwing 97 and 2028 draft eligible. He already ranks #78 for 2028. MLB scouts think he’s a slam dunk rotation piece for us.

He’s not on their 2026 roster so hard to find stats, but I did see that he had 13 bombs in 186ABs, so 1 HR for every 14.3 ABs this year.
For reference, Jared Jones hit 1 HR for every 10.5 ABs in his LSU career. I’ll take it.

I think Jay knows what he's doing here. This guy is a premium defensive SS who hit over .300 and had 13 HRs in just 48 games (missed last 15 games of season)
