Kansas state was #70 in the NET rankings before this game so it would currently be a quad 1 win. But they could also fall out of the top 75 in the NET.

Outside of that get the damn freshman big off the perimeter I’ve seen enough of his 3 ball since the exhibition and the shot just ain’t there.
Really like our freshmen guards. Cam Carter is a beast. Sears is solid too and I expect a better game from him next game. Dji Bailey cant shoot, but does everything else right. This could be a fun year.

Our offense is not built around bigs we will play a 4 and 5 by committee this year. The bigs did exactly what they are asked to do. Defend and rebound with the occasional put back. Chest is making some progress he’s ann incredible athlete, and should continue to get some run against a zone defense, against man I’d lean on him playing the 5. If he has to put the ball on the floor we are toast but as long as he stays out of that situation he’s earned himself a good 8-10 minutes a night.

Breakage was rocking early but it was fun watching the energy get zapped out of there as we started to pull away in the first half. Moments me and cams family were the only people yelling.

One of the best games of the McMahon era. Carter is our best player but I think we sink or swim with the play of Sears. He has to be better with the ball and cut the turnovers and also hit a high percentage of threes. We've got a shot this year if we can get some breaks. I'm impressed that team chemistry looks good and everyone is hustling to try and get game time.

The second half turnovers were the only thing that kept KSU within shouting distance. Otherwise LSU completely dominated the last 30 minutes of the game on both ends
