He's a true freshman lefty vs lefty in a big spot on the road in front of more fans than he's ever played in front of in his life. In SEC play we probably PH there but this was a good chance for CJJ to let Neal experience that moment and see how he responds

Do you know that it’s not? He’s either hurt which is affecting his hitting or he’s just not very good at hitting, which isn’t great for your DH. And based on his production from last year, I’m going to assume his shoulder has had some effect on his hitting.

There was a trend of a frickton of K’s in the scrimmages also. We just have trouble putting the ball in play at all with good pitching
