Can't believe the guys who waste their time watching preseason practice thought he would be good

He should have. He had really good hitting numbers in the postseason last year vs good competition. It just didn’t work in the SEC. At all.

LSU has hit the ball well lately but couldn’t pitch. Fitting they pitch well tonight but couldn’t hit out of a wet paper bag.

I dropped by out of frustration with the SECrant thread being fricked up.

I know it's not the season you expected but I'm glad that your fans still made their presence very well known in Hoover.

I'll bow out now.

What we wanted

What we would have settled for

What we got

What we now wish

Ruckert is gonna have to make a massive jump in every asset of his game. He is defense is atrocious, he can't hit, and he pops up over half the time he's called on to bunt. There's no place on this team for an infielder that sucks at hitting and fielding.

I appreciate Jay trying some PHs. But none of the 4 of those were getting a hit.

What would you like him to do??? You complain when he takes the guy you complained about with someone you’re now complaining about. You can’t have the best of both worlds.

Don’t care that he didn’t get him, that barehand throw was impressive.

that says a lot that he was the only RH bat left on the bench to hit against the Auburn lefty, and he still went with fatass who is hitting sub .200 in SEC play

Yorke and Caraway in the field in the 8th.

Some people will hate it. But Jay is gonna gain more in the long run from the guys in the dugout and players coming later.

If there was ever a chance it would be the batters coming up in the 9th with Arrambide, Curiel, Milam.

Arambide is 1/7 with 4 strikeouts in Hoover.

This is the worst season I’ve ever seen at LSU and with what we’re losing hitting big in the portal is the only chance Jay has at turning this thing around or else you could see a very similar season next year.
