Marciano is one of those pitchers that is extremely effective without dominant stuff.
I haven't compared the numbers but it seems like the pitching in the conference is down this year. Just not many guys that strike fear in you.

Approach of not swinging early is generally not bad, but when a guy is throwing like this, you gotta attack those early fastballs so you don't end up in a hole.
