...is this a serious response?

You’re not wrong, but at the end of the day, it’s Bama. They’re at home playing the toughest opponent they have to face. It’s been this way for a long time.

The consensus expectation is that they’ll handle their business because they almost always do.

I know this year's production is different...but

These are the exact same players we had last year and got blown out at home

What do you think it should be? LSU +2.5? Tell you what, for fun give me Bama -2.5 and let’s put 500 on it. Still feel comfy about a line smaller than 8?

I died on this hill last year, even starting a thread with stats about it...and yet Bama came in here and whipped LSU 29-0.

You're not wrong on any of your points, though, and I probably hold the same thoughts on many of them. But...it just doesn't matter until the final second ticks off the clock.

I thought LSU had a decent shot last year, and I for sure think the Tigers have a great shot this year. I hope I'm right this go around.

LSU + 8 vs Bama

betting lines are not exactly about who Vegas thinks will win, but about where the numbers need to be to get the money to fall as close to 50/50 as possible.

The refs have been named for the game.

Their 4th receiver is Jalen Waddle

Our 4th receiver is Racey McMath

LSU are losers of 8 straight.

Have been outscored 63-10 over the last three games.

Alabama's current season margin of victory compared to LSU's.

Yeah but none of that gas to do with this years team. The MoV doesn't mean anything after you look at SoS compared to LSU's

When is the last time we scored a meaningful point against Bama?

You can't use a comparison like that. Realistically our 4th receiver is Moss.

If you put their 3 best against our 3 best it's pretty much a wash

Chase and Burrow were sophomores last season? Burrow had a year of LSU experience already?

The line was made by someone that thought it was a good line to draw action on both sides. Honestly I expected it -10. Probably the only single digits underdog to bama in the last couple years is Clemson?

That's a pretty stupid post comparing last year to this year as if nothing changes. Either you are trolling or you are pretty damn stupid.
