I sent out a cancellation notice to three projects we were going to pursue but decided not to. So I was able to clear my plate for the rest of the week at just the right time so me doing nothing isn't unproductive because there is nothing to look at lmfao.

SEC Bylaw 14.01.1 — Compliance With Other NCAA and Conference Legislation. It states that each student-athlete:
“must comply with the Constitution, Bylaws, and other rules, regulations, and legislation of the Conference and the NCAA”
and that this compliance is required:
“in order to be eligible for athletically-related aid, practice, or competition.”

But as I've said, none of this really matters which is why its so infuriating that we got into this mess. We can't play them this season regardless of what happens in court today.

Second attorney is finished. He did a great job showing bylaws and in the NCAA bylaws he clearly showed how these players should be eligible to play based on the 5 for 5 rule. He got Sankey to admit that the bylaws show that and made Sankey say that he and the sec will follow those bylaws.

Yeah if the SEC is arguing that their bylaws state that NCAA rules still apply even if a court issues an injunction, and therefore said player is still barred from playing in the SEC, that’s a huge mistake.
Because that means that they let Pavia, Chambliss, numerous basketball players, Texas player and I’m sure dozens of others play over the past 4-5 years without issuing a similar clarifying rule or engaging in any similar enforcement attempts.

Exactly. This isn’t a local court voicing their feelings about letting the poor kids play.
The court is saying the NCAA violated antitrust law. And now the SEC is in violation of the same law.
The SEC is forcing schools to choose between breaking the law or breaking the law. That is why Sankey is toast.

He is not eligible and will play on Saturday. The SEC should sanction Ole Miss against a court order.
