No argument there. All of these TRO/injunction players should be ineligible according to the SEC. Singling out LSU is their weakest position.

Whether right or wrong, the league and its attorneys believe that this precedent will open the door for any "professional" still within that 5-for-5 window to return to college athletics by citing this case.

The federal suit. Any chance that it’s moved to the middle district of Louisiana? I doubt it would improve LSUs stance but it would be convenient.

Even as an LSU fan, the SEC team's incompetence is annoying the shite out of me. Why on Earth would he object there? Now he just creates a clear situation where Sankey could not simple say he doesn't "hate" one of his member schools. That question would only hurt the SEC if he said something other than, "no." Maybe Williams believes Sankey is a moron and would have trouble saying no.

They sign a legally binding contract generally called a Tryout Agreement and Waiver.

Exactly. A school can pay you 5 mil to play but God forbid a farm system pays you 60k when you're 22, then you decide to come back to get your degree.

So the players that went to mini camps signed zero paperwork with these pro teams? Like they just showed up for camp and never signed anything? That is hard to believe. Most of the college players making more money anyway than the "pros".
