I’m an LSU and a PSU fan. I’ll take the lows for the highs.
I think it makes the season more magical when you get a championship.
Alabama is the gold standard and for most of Sabans career they were picked to win it all. Seems like the championships all blend together and weren’t shocking. The other side would be would you rather play for it every year and win half or be like LSU?

Update: nothing they said was illegal
I think slo is one of the best trolls here. He mixes facts occasionally with wildly wrong interpretations about function.
The videos I’ve watched are inappropriate and I think they should be stripped of any privilege in Congress, but I haven’t seen them say anything illegal.
not to follow unlawful orders is a core of all training for police, military and others that have a lawful duty to follow orders.
We have gotten away from the principle of free speech. I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll defend with my life for your right to be a dumbass.
Edit
The Democratic Party is very good at being vague when asked about the illegal orders. Their inability to point to one shows they are just targeting the casual, emotional voter. It worked in NYC as they elected a mayor who ran on a platform where he doesn’t have the authority to do half of what got him elected.

Domestically? Yes. That's not applicable to this scenario, though. I do not believe we're subject to that particular treaty, however. Which means that their typical extradition rules would not be mandated upon the US.
As a lawyer you should know that no extradition can take place without a court hearing. So which court do you think would hold this hearing? New York municipal, New York State or Federal Court?
What officers would arrest him? Very few state or local police carry federal credentials.
What you are entertaining is a kidnapping. I would still love to hear how you would think the NYPD could transport him out of the country.
Backing a state that wouldn’t honor a domestic arrest warrant, but will tout arresting a foreign leader on some ceremonial warrant issued by a powerless group seems low brow.
If this is all some contrarian schtick, then well played sir. You get people riled up.
What type of law do you practice? I know it’s not criminal from your posting unless that’s just part of the schtick.

), there is always the possibility that NYC could theoretically extradite Bibi to a country who would prosecute him (among which are many options)
Did you just make this up and put “theoretically” in front? Do you have any understanding on how extradition works within the US state to state much less internationally?
1st question in your “theoretically”
How do you think the NYPD could get him out of the country? Just pass through TSA with a prisoner, board an international flight with guns all while taking the leader of a recognized country?
I think the board makes fun of you so much because it appears you just make stuff up. If you would just stick to some points you are knowledgeable about maybe people would respect your stance.

I'm one of 7 library board members. Although I never liked this plan, a majority of the board chose to support it. At that point, I had two choices: I could "stand on principle" and quit, or I could stay on the board, expressing my thoughts and opinions when and where the opportunity arose.
This is the issue with politics today. If you don’t agree you have to quit or be replaced.
The people voted against it and that should be enough. I think you should be able to strongly disagree and be respectfully vocal against an idea. Shouting people down, ad hominem defenses and the belief that politics is good versus evil has got us to the point where lunatics are attempting murder over a difference of opinions.

Kiffin's never won shite.....Got fired in the 20th month at the Raiders.
What was Kiffin around 30 at the time? Also they drafted Jamarcus Russell who he did not want and also turned into a huge bust. Art Modell interfered with the raiders non stop. It took a special coach to be there

Honestly curious - where in the Monroe Doctorine does it greenlight tampering in some Eastern European shithole that 75% of Americans can’t find on a map?
To be fair 75% of Americans couldn’t accurately label Vermont, New Hampshire and Connecticut on a map.
Mamdami vs Cuomo
It’s crazy when Cuomo is the better option. Almost seems like a setup

Once California is completely blue they really have no threat left to make on the national stage. Other than fudging the census to try to get an extra seat, but I think that will be the next goal of the GOP. An accurate count of citizens can only further diminish California's power

Mandame’s problems will start when half his plan revolves around state legislature passing new taxes and laws which will not get much support in state government
Chris Petersen
he was able to make Boise St a national brand with nothing more than 3 star recruits. He could take a solid QB and make him a beast.

Truth Bomb. I get WHY LSU hired him, but it was a stupid hire from the jump.
Kelly is arrogant seems to have fake outrage and was an embarrassment to LSU.
That’s a lot considering we had Coach O who barely spoke English and Les Miles before him that knew all the words but struggled to put them in the correct order to make sense
PSU is job security. They have only had 3 coaches since the 60s

I would love Chris Petersen. He took 3 star players taught them discipline and put Boise St on the map. He could find a college QB that ran his system flawlessly.
Can you loan us $54 mil to fire Kelly? Please! Anyone know how much his staff cost to fire? We need to borrow that too.
The weather was awful, but the product on the field ran the rest off.

I hated Kelly when he was named LSU’s coach and that hasn’t changed. I never saw a single game where he coached Notre Dame and said, “man I wish he was at LSU”.
I wanted Boise’s coach.
Now we are in a bind because we paid this buffoon 100 million for Gerry Dinardo results. We are stuck with him until a bunch of millionaires say otherwise.
At least our governor is calling out LSU for raising prices next year with the product they are putting on the field.
Brian Kelly needs to fire his OC Slone for the horrible game plan. This is a worse scheme than Mettenberger had. I don’t blame Nus for throwing a fit. Slone destroyed his draft stock with these crappy 40 yard throws across the field for a possible 5 yard gain and other ridiculously long drawn out routes that don’t work

We will not truly know about Bondi until a year or so in.
She’s in the one spot that everything is secret until it’s an indictment. A good case takes time and 9 months in there are some prosecutions. She relies on the other agencies to investigate and develop the case to present, then it’s her job to prosecute.
She could be gold or shite. Time will tell.
Because everyone else is moving at lightning speed it makes her look even slower.

re: Chicago-Area Judge Rules ICE Agents Can Be Arrested at Courthouses

Bondi should put a warrant out for any judge that arrests an ICE agent for doing their duty. Charge them with interfering with an investigation.
The difference is
1) the judge is making an order without evidence or investigation
2) the DOJ must have an investigation, articulate Probable Cause for an actual violation of US Code and have hearings.
That’s why the DOJ moves at a snails pace. It has no other choice. A bad investigation or a rush to arrest usually ends in a NO PC and the defender is released without bond
A judge cannot create jurisdiction nor can they invent law. They try all the time, but it’s not enforceable.
Any police officer can arrest anyone while inside their jurisdiction for a violation of a criminal code they were sworn to uphold.
It does not require a sheriffs deputy or police officer. BUT almost no police or sheriff’s deputy carry federal credentials. Those are attached to task forces like DEA or FBI. And their credentials are silver instead of gold. They do not act alone in making arrests and work underneath a federal agent. So 99.9% of police and sheriff are not sworn to uphold federal law and receive no training in the matter.
East Baton Rouge parish doesn’t house federal prisoners awaiting trial they are held in West Baton Rouge.
Warrant arrests are made by the original agency that issued the warrant. An officer outside of that agency makes the “arrest” it’s actually just a hold. The original agency has a limited time to go pick that person up and book them on the warrant or they are released back into the streets and the warrant is activated again.
There are plenty of people walking around the US with warrants from other states, but are outside the extradition range of the Originating Agency. They will be detained while the Original Agency is contacted when it’s learned they will not extradite they are released.
