The decision is if they stay in the SEC possibly or except his suspension.
This I assume will not only effect football but every other sport.

If Lane gets suspended, LSU needs to refuse to play in any SEC competition indefinitely and sue the conference for its immediate secession

Thamel is reporting they are not expected to vote LSU out on Thursday. This is literally a posturing tactic so that the SEC can have leverage to govern itself for whenever they inevitably break away from the NCAA. If Kiffin even remotely comes close to being suspended, it will be one game(of LSUs choosing). So probably the Mcneese game

Kiffin’s return to Oxford in two weeks is literally one of the biggest storylines in the last decade in college football. Barring him being caught on video murdering someone, he’s coaching that game.

Suspending Lane for Ole Miss would be about the dumbest thing the SEC could ever do

Yep...they didn't suspend the Tennessee coach for inciting violence with sticking up golf balls for throwing at Lane when he arrives, so they will find a way to suspend Lane for a non-violent statement...

Bring it. LSU will have more than enough money to run their program for 100 years.

Under what rule? What rule did he break to justify suspension?

That doesn't make any sense. if they are able to break away from the NCAA they can make their own rules anyway.

It does look like we are headed for a new subdivision in Div I where the power conferences have more say, and there this makes perfect sense.
