This is exactly what I expected to happen. Kelly isn’t going to put up with shite like this. He quit on his team and after the bowl game Kelly probably told him to go frick himself in a professional way.

For the "Next year is our year" and "BK wants to build through HS recruits" crowd... This is a prime example of why you can't forecast a team with the Transfer Portal.

Theres just too much money flowing to expect a 5-Star kid to sit for 2 seasons when he can go somewhere else and start immediately/get paid. College football is now a one year window.

You have to do whatever is necessary
to win NOW because your current roster is not promised for the following season.

Bama's starting LT was a freshman this year so I don't see that happening. The only way I think he will get a for sure starting spot at LT would be for him to transfer to a lower tier program. Maybe I am wrong

why do you guys just act like Jones is some kinda slouch? shits irritating that you're asking to move a grown man RT inside because someone wants to play there, who hasn't earned it. I want Heard to go and be great also, but just thinking that moving Jones inside was the fix, was never the case.

He can still pull his name, but he clearly doesn’t see himself playing either tackle next year and he’s probably right.
