Have no problem with getting portal OL, but I don't think the current OL talent at LSU is necessarily the problem.

This. Every report that’s been released tracking recruiting rankings to the draft tells us that this many 4 and 5 star players can’t all be busts. When there are this many in one position group playing below their ratings and talent level, it’s an obvious coaching problem.

College running backs making more than pro running backs is fricking stupid and out of control.

At some point it will cease to be "LSU sports" and just players who happen to play at the stadium on campus that year.

Highly likely AC Joint Sprain. The grade of sprain will depend on the recovery. I had a grade 3 tear and couldnt lift my arm, but it was 5 weeks of in a sling for a full recovery.

There are 3 DIFFERENT ratings that says the talent is better than the play shown. 1) recruiting ratings out of HS 2) the many major college offers out of HS that these players received 3) as you alluded to, the number of recent LSU OL that made NFL rosters. Sssssooo why are they so bad in college yet supposedly great in HS and can make NFL rosters?

They’re gonna tank their whole program trying to stick it to us. It’s actually hilarious.

This. They can't win a spending race long term, but they may go all in for 2026 just to show they can. Their NIL boosters might be broke by the time the portal closes.

But you should be concerned as a fan how that will affect building a team.

1.5m/2m is the going rate in the portal for a top tier RB (baugh is supposedly getting 2m offers)

Yeah I hate this crap. The NIL and the one year and move on portal system.
Ten years ago when the debate was going on about paying players, some were saying many of these kids were poor and if we could just pay the players $250 a month or so for spending money, that it would be great.
The push back was it wasn’t feasible because you would have to pay the women sports too.

Now we jumped from that basic idea to where we are just the NFL. Worse actually because players can leave after only one year.

With all that said, if this is the new reality, I want LSU to be at the top of the hill with how we do it.

Just keep offering their players large sums and make Ole Miss match it. They will blow their NIL wad on players currently on their roster.

Berry showed flashes of greatness while not even being used correctly.

He is a Reggie Bush type back, not what Sloan or whoever was calling the plays was actually doing with him in sending him straight up the middle every play this year.

Get him outside or show some damn creativity, which Lane will do, and Harlem will eventually outshine Kewan.

Lacy at LSU can’t and won’t be as good unless we find an OL.

Lacy will be no more effective than our current guys if no one knows how to run block correctly.

While we’ll probably get at least two OL transfers IMO, it will be amazing what scheme and play-calling will have on our rushing success next year.

Kiffin’s offenses always have a great rushing attack because of misdirection and scheme. Our running game was very predictable last year.
