re: Lacy 2 mil per, ole miss @1.8

1.5m/2m is the going rate in the portal for a top tier RB (baugh is supposedly getting 2m offers)
FWIW, don't see Simmons in Miami. Even though he's a Miami native, Miami is looking for a more experienced guy.

Don't be surprised if Miami enters the DS sweepstakes as well given we lose Bain and Mesidor.
Both defenses were stingy but the offenses were heavily affected by the wind. Ask anyone who was there - pretty consistent 25-30 mph wind throughout the game.

They all should be back for OSU.
He is already commanding a VERY hefty NIL.
I don't think there was real interest there from either sides (esp Miami). I think folks bought into the tweets from Nakos that were clearly from Sellers' agent to drive up his price to USCe.
Miami has zero interest in DJL. It’s gonna come down to mestemaker, leavitt or Bailey for Miami imo. Leavitt makes me nervous bc of his injury - beck was out for last spring and most of the summer and definitely affected him.

We’ll probably end up with Bailey which I guess isn’t the worst thing in the world.

My $0.02.
Brown does not belong on that list. He is a very below average passer.

Not sure sellers was top 5 on their list. Perhaps in the next tier but not at the top. Jmo.

Tops are sorsby, mestemaker, leavitt. Next on the list is Bailey and raiola..

We’re all going for the top guys.

The kid is mentally (and physically to an extent) broken now. He needs a no pressure year to come back strong in 2027. JMO
I think we're after the same guys. lol
I think we are more likely to go for Bailey but he's a pass for me. Same goes for Sellers.

Bailey is well liked especially within the current team at Miami but I think there are better options.

I do know we're looking to move quickly, though.
TD is the OG. Wasn’t lsufreek from here originally?
He's drawing a lot of comps to RJ Mason.
Yeah, super productive HS kid and he has elite burst off the edge. Body needs some work but long arms help offset is height. All signs point to Miami.

Your first point is a valid one unless Ty returns (which he can/should).

As for your other pt, Williams is the only real threat that returns. Coleman is better than Horton.
I think you all will keep your top guys but OOS guys are more at risk.

Lafayette, for example, is being recruited hard for a flip by Miami and a couple other schools.
2025 class will be interesting to monitor given there are several top rated kids sitting behind underclassmen. Russell and St. Clair are obviously the big names especially if they're asked to sit again next year. Others to keep an eye on in this vein are Lewis and Zollers.
Yes. Wanted us to go harder after this kid b/c he has stuff you can't teach - insane burst and freakishly long arms. Very productive kid in HS. Needs to put on some weight but should be a major player in a couple years imo
does it really matter? 100% the class this year doesn't stay together and they drop out of the top 5.
