I WISH, these were all single cabs. I'd instantly buy a single cab with a 392.

Do you really think this is putting more pressure on his knee running BS routes over blocking 300 lb dudes and having to set the edge?

Yall weird man.

Yes, has to be vested for one year before selling. It's a gamble.

Good question. I didnt even think about that.

Just the match up to 6%. Max is 15% Right?

401k/Company Stock Option

Posted by BadatBourre on 5/14/26 at 9:11 pm
New job, one of our benefits at being able to purchase company stock at a 15% discount. 401k is normal 6% match. 3M Stock

Here's my question. My 401k is only allocated a few stock selections most of them the usual 30, 35, 40-year retirement stocks.

I can buy 3M stock at a 15% discount, keep it for a year and sell it. Because the brokerage is a different company for the stock, I can use the proceeds from selling the stock and purchase whatever I want stock wise. ETFs, individual stocks, bonds etc. Even take the hit and move it into a Roth if I want.

I've got 6% invested for the 401k match which is the max. It would be better for me to instead of adding any extra % to 401k, to just buy more stocks since they are at a 15% discount? Right? And then I can cash out and diversify into VOO or whatever? Or would you guys fund a 401k, and buy enough stocks to then convert enough to cap a Roth every year?

This might sound dumb, but I'm just trying to gain as much as I can.
Work out, clean the house, cook dinner. Pretty easy.

Pretty much what my mom did in the 80s/90s.

Coach O is still one of the best Dline coaches in the country. Yall can be upset on what happened post Natty, but the dude is one of the best coaches and if Lane thinks he can help this team out, Im all for it.

But did you see what he did in the SECCG v Georgia!!!!!

Yes, Georgia went into prevent defense mode allowing a bunch of throws underneath, and Nuss still threw into double coverage but our WRs were bad arse and bailed him out more than once.

Dont believe me, go watch it again. its on Youtube.

Pass rusher?

Nope, hes not strong enough to play DE.

LB?

He doesn't have the instincts to play LB, and to be honest, once again not strong enough.

Star?

Not a position for 95% of the teams in the NFL. Only a few teams play with an in the box safety anymore, and most teams are getting away from it to fight the growing spread up tempo offenses. Bend dont break defenses.

Special team guy Someone will take a late round flyer on him possibly, but he doesn't have a full-time role at the next level. He may come in on some exotic blitz packages if he finds himself on one of those teams, but I wouldnt expect a lot or production until he figures out how to break initial contact. He gets out muscled quite a bit.

I said since his freshman year that he needed to play in the box safety, which was sort of the star role. He just doesnt understand zone concepts, like at all. It's really concerning that a 4th year guy can't understand even basic zone concepts with a coach like Baker out there.

To be perfectly frank, I'm more excited to see Bakers defense WITHOUT Perkins than I am with him on the sidelines. I think Perkins actually limited what Baker can do and what schemes he can come up with.

I can't fathom anyone thinking this was all fake.

Yes, he made questionable decisions, and straight-out poor decisions. Pick 6 vs Southern for example .
But go look at tape again. He used to be able to drive the ball. He'd make the ball pop in receivers' hands.
He didn't have that last year. He threw ducks whenever it was more than 15 yds downfield.

He wasnt throwing ducks late in the season. His velocity was back to normal.
He still made terrible decisions.

He used to be able to drive the ball. He'd make the ball pop in receivers' hands.

And he still has a sub 30% reception rate on balls over 25 yards BTW. His accuracy on deep balls is awful.

He panics under pressure. Continues to throw off his back foot. He refuses to just take the sack when it's not 3rd down and we aren't in FG range. He throws balls into double coverage for no reason while we have guys wide open. His progression reads are a mess. He can't read coverages once they are disguised. He's considered small for today's NFL, and acts like he was hit by a train any time he's hit.

What a load of shite.

I've never seen a 5th year QB continue to backpedal against pressure and throw off his backfoot like we did once again this year. You tell me if that's coachable or not.

I've been breaking down game film for 3 years on Perkins because I never saw what so many LSU fans did. Like the guy, but his entire skill set is see ball, get ball, which isn't a position at any level besides high school. He relied on his elite athleticism to make plays but could never rely on his brain for anything. Not saying the guy isn't intelligent, but it's obvious he has 0 idea how to play anything besides blitz, spy, or man coverage.

Yes, he can occasionally bend the edge and get a big sack. But more often than not he's getting blocked by a TE or OT 20 yards downfield. He has no idea how to disengage; he has no power to break initial contact and has to come through FREE to make any real impact, something that didnt happen once teams had game film on him until Arkansas once again allowed it to happen.

I think you should go to bed. Perkins is pretty awful with 0 position in the NFL or even college.

He's to small for DE or LB, and cant decipher plays enough to play safety. His game film besides Arkansas once every 3 years is abysmal. Takes off too many plays, and to be honest, looks lost any time he has to play anything besides blitz, or spy.

Wanna see something funny? Go watch Nichols from 2024. Perkins gets bullied the entire game by D2 TEs and Lineman. It gets so bad, he throws a punch that isnt flagged. We take Perkins out and put Weeks in and the next 2 drives are 3 and outs. Our very first 3 and outs of the game BTW. We put Perkins back in and they drive 60 yards and score another TD.

Theres no way you don't. Sorry bro, spinal cysts don't cause you to throw to check downs on every single play.

After his shitty year, his lack of measurables, poor decision making, and relative lack of playing time, he was always going to drop.

Oh, I agree with you. Hes a 5th round pick at best. But why do you keep posting his cyst then? That wasn't his issue, and its just a reason they can lean on for his shitty play. It just so happens it popped up before the draft.

Nuss has elite level tools, he has not played at an elite level yet.

Please tell me what is elite about Nuss. Because he has 0 elite tools. He has a big arm with 0 accuracy. He can't run. He looks like a newborn gazelle. He consistently throws off his back foot under pressure. He still uses a timeout on the first play of a drive. He still throws into double coverage for no reason why overlooking wide open WRs.
