He is a stiff, linear route runner. He was great at tracking and high pointing balls but you can’t bully SEC guys and win like that, not at his size. You have to have more in the bag

This much roster turnover across college football on a year-by-year basis might not be sustainable. A good bit of the appeal of the sport is watching players develop over their time at the school you root for. NFL teams will have more attachment between fan and player very shortly, if not already.

quote:What kind of logic is this? OL needs skill player teammates to actually score points… Is a safety not reliant on a pass rush to speed up how much time a receiver has to get open? RB’s aren’t the only position that relies on others. It’s a team game.
You know what is a homerun pick? Someone that will have more than 60% snap usage and not have to rely on another position for success.

Blocking better will suddenly make our backs be able to break a tackle or outrun people. It’ll suddenly make our receivers get separation and learn how to hold on to the ball when contested. Let’s go OL in round 1 every year. Seems to be working so far…
quote:Doubt it. Everyone wants to take OL in the 1st again. Maybe we’ll start blocking our receivers to separation and actually being able to catch a contested ball.
I'm sure it's an off-season priority
quote:When will it stop? We’ve already spent premium pick after premium pick on the lines and look where we’re at. At a certain point we need some skill guys that are just better than the guys that are trying to stop them.
Would not be mad at another big OL prospect
quote:I’m not a scout but I don’t see what’s so great about Tate. Seems like a JAG to me, but I could be wrong.
Watch Carnell Tate.
quote:Ole Piss OLine and Dline actually both played extremely well. There were several blitzes they picked up perfectly. And their DTs batted down a ton of balls at the LOS.
Look at both lines of scrimmage and tell me where Ole Myth has ANY advantage whatsoever?
quote:You’re spot on. Team has been dreadful in short yardage situations since BK took over if folks have been paying attention. Not being able to pick up 1 yard when you need it is a good indicator of an inept offense. JD5 masked a lot of it, but the wheels fell off this season.
When BK was hired. What a joke hire.

Houston looks 10x more physical on both lines. DLine can’t generate any push, OLine the same. A whole culture shift is needed from whatever BK was doing. Team is soft rn
quote:Right? Guys never seem to flip or transfer from that school. Gotta hand it to em.
I gotta hand it to them Carolina cocks players. They are committed and loyal to mediocrity.

They’re gonna tank their whole program trying to stick it to us. It’s actually hilarious.

quote:it was indeed a great play by the defender. But sometimes you just have to be better than the other guy, and too often Olave is not
Can't blame Olave on that one great play by the defender
True #1 receivers make that play.

No one on this offense can make someone miss. No threats at the skill positions cause we spent 1st rounders on studs like Ruiz….
