They gave a blueprint on how to limit us. We kept trying to run the ball up the middle with defenders stacking the middle. If you can't run up the middle, find a different play.

I don’t expect a lot of other teams to suddenly switch to a 3-3-5.

They sure did. Now if the other team can score more than 45

LA Tech isn’t the best defense LSU will play this year. LSU isn’t going to score 45 points every game.

You severely underestimate Kiffin's ability to adjust in a game to scheme around it. He has done it his entire career...and he did it in this game too in the second half.

You better bring 2 gameplans when you play a Kiffin offense because if it's not working, he's going to find a hole somewhere.

I am sure we would have adjusted faster if we were down on the scoreboard.

Limited LSU to 528 total yards. Congrats to the techsters. Crowning achievement.

The scheme was one thing, but La Tech players played tremendously aggressive and made tons of open field tackles behind the line. So you have to credit their players. Even with that though, LSU still figuring out a way to score 45 is pretty good.

This a problem I mentioned last night. No creativity which I didn’t expect out of kiffens offense.

Yeah, it's very troubling Kiffin/Weiss didn't open up the entire playbook yesterday.

It’s a good possibility we will be one of the better defenses every team on our schedule plays. Football is a complimentary sport. Our offense can definitely improve and likely will.

Not sure but I think as I recall last yr the next game or some games after that teams played that 3-3-5 or similar and gave BK’s offense fits in run game

I dont know why the 20 DVs… you speak the truth!

I have said it a few times on here last night and today but to stop a HUNH offense like Lane’s you have to stop the 1st and second down runs and Tech was extremely committed to that in effort and numbers. If you dont he will run 12 plays in 2:30 min and gas your defense by end of 1st Qtr.

Our problem was we did not execute the alternative options too well and turned the ball over. As Lane said in his PC after the game we were rolling up yards but not points.
