My grandfather and his father were blacksmiths.
We still have some of their equiphment, and Kevin Faulk's hands are like the anvils we still have.

Dude, a man with a serious medical condition was assaulted. You do realize this punch could have resulted in a serious medical emergency? Or do you? My comments were directed at this incident specifically and my decision not to make the game because of fear of violence. Now I know my fear was justified.

As regards your accusations about the atmosphere at LSU, which you seem to use to justify the violent act by this looney let me say this. As I said you cannot completely stop random acts of violence by irresponsible idiots but you can sure complicate their lives real fast. Whether it happens at Tiger Stadium or Kyle Field folks who do this stuff must be held accountable and suffer the consequences. Right now there are pictures of the incident and excuse me I don't see any evidence that A&M coaches or fans trying to restrain this idiot, only LSU coaches. A lot of questions. Was this A&M individual overly agitated during or at the end of the game? Did anyone on the A&M side make an effort to calm him down?

My concern is a parents concern. But then most likely you're not a parent so you wouldn't understand. I would expect officials at A&M or Tiger Stadium would be concerned about the safety of the fans in the stadium. As a grandparent (or parent) when I take an underage grandchild with me to a game I assume responsibility for his/her safety.Every fan (or parent) attending a collegiate football game assumes the atmosphere at the stadium they attend is safe and they will have an enjoyable evening watching a great football game. Right now seared in my mind is the notion (right or wrong) that Kyle field is not a safe place, especially if you're an LSU coach, player, or fan. That my friend is NOT a good omen for this sport.

Have a great day!

Give me a brake!! Do you know how bad LSU fans act in their stadium to visitors of the opposite team?! LSU is known for this nation wide!! You all have the shittiest reputation in college football for having the worse fans inside your stadium! So tap the breaks. In ‘90, ‘94 and 2013 I came to BR to watch the Aggies play vs you guys and same shite happen every time, liquor bottles, small batteries, drinks thrown down at us.......like clockwork! Aggies are known for being a hospitable and respectful fan base (unless you start shite). If this young man actual hit Kragthorpe then by all means A&M needs to get to the bottom of this and let the chips fall where they may. I don’t really care either way about the guy, if he’s not representing A&M the correct way and is a hot head he needs to be shown the door.

People keep saying this but I have probably been to 50 LSU home games and never witnessed an LSU fan physically assault an opposing teams fan. I've never been to College Station but from my experiences with A&M fans in BR they are probably the worst in the conference.

This is all rumor and hyperbole. Everyone has a story about a-hole LSU fans, yet I've never seen it in person. Its also complete irrelevant to this situation, as this particular instance involved people on the field, not fans.

Stepping on the wrong patch of grass is enough to get swords waived at you and foul language and insults hurled at you, since we're basing the entire reputation of a fan base on anecdotes.

That would be "break". Meaning a favor or concession

This would be "brakes" meaning the automotive appliances that cause it to stop on command.

Misuse of the English language in such a grievous manner invalidates all your specious argument. BTW, those stories have been floating around for years but haven't occurred in actuality for decades, if ever.

I have to think there was a tv camera still on record covering the field post-game. Even if its a wide angle whole field shot, I would imagine it might show how this melee went down.

It's their property. Even if the SEC says they have to let him in, they can point to the safety of the coaching staff as a reason not to. I don't think even the SEC could stand up to that. Especially if Krag were to get a restraining order.

Yet, it's amazing since the advent of the cell phone camera, not one single bit of evidence of this type of stuff.

I get that the little pecker is his nephew so he doesn't want him sent to prison but Jimbo needs to man up and at least offer a formal apology to Krags.

right is right, wrong is wrong.
Charges should be filed...
the DA can do it if he has the character and balls to do so.

this will be the guy who one day may hurt someone in the heat of the moment and his family will say "we never saw that side of him"

he should be banned from the stadium for AT LEAST one full season.
and yes Jimbo should accept the blame and apologize.

Don’t square up with this guy, he knows proper punch technique. You can’t see it, but I gaurantee his thumb is tucked inside his fist. Probably decorated street fighter.

So will Jimbo cut his pride and joy...the idiot mental midget who is Dameyune Craig?

And put your nephew back at the kiddies table, Jimbo.
