Not that Jay is going anywhere but Mingione would probably be #1 on the list to replace him right now.

Jay Johnson is the GOAT and it took him 2/3rds of the season to figure this year’s team out.

That was the speech of a true class act in admiration of a competitor.

I know nothing about UK's baseball coach but just based on this one press conference clip he seems like a good dude.

Mingione had a very classy interview. Went out of his way, almost over the top, to talk about how good a coach Jay is and how great Hollman was and is.

Much respect to him for that answer. That was really nice to hear - and kind of funny too.

What changed about LSU over last 20 games, he has insider info since him and jay are friends, how hard to repeat and how hard this conference is and how hard it is to stay on top. All the changes at LSU from last year, players pitching coaches. CJJ is one of the best coaches in college baseball and sometimes it just takes a little longer to figure it out. LSU is clearly one of the best 64 teams.

Very complimentary of CJJ and LSU and the job they done recently considering what they lost.

I like the guy. Let the downvotes rain down. There may be something sucky about him, but from this view it seems like he would be fun to play for.

Schedule got easier.
Pitching is getting better.
Hitting is getting better.

Probably just a function of a young talented team that started off with a brutal schedule and that brutal start has made them stronger into post season play.
