Hès got my respect. Classy statements but true JJ is one of the best if not the best CBB coach in America. He is an LSU Tiger.

To paraphrase,

Playing in the SEC just means more!
Also, Jay Johnson is one of the best coaches in baseball.

Much respect showed to JJ. a-hole Wes Johnson was a prick of a coach yesterday. Not one ounce of respect to LSU, squat.

“ it’s hard to repeat and they lost a lot of pieces but if anybody was going to figure it out, it was gonna be Jay johnson.”

That was good and classy, the way a professional handles that sort of question.

Probably the best thing that fans can do is buy tickets and come to Box stadium!

Strong disagree. He was the coach who called the wrong base to Hanover back in 2010 to score a Mississippi State run. Total bush league play. Unforgivable for me. You can believe what you want about him.

I have long thought the same about him that he's a bush league douchebag. But in fairness that was 14 years ago. He was only 31 at the time. He seems to have grown up and matured a lot as a coach because the past few years anytime I've had the chance to listen to any of his interviews or press conferences he comes off the very opposite of that. I actually enjoy listening to him now and in this case he showed a ton of class and respect for both LSU and Jay Johnson.

Jeeze. I must be clueless, don't know much about him other than UK has been impressive the last couple years and the guy seems to be young, well spoken, and building a winner in an unusual place for college baseball success.

He will always be a bitch

It’s like no one in here watched the Super Regional last season. They only said about 50 times that him and Jay Johnson are old friends.

Schedule got easier. Pitching is getting better. Hitting is getting better. Probably just a function of a young talented team that started off with a brutal schedule and that brutal start has made them stronger into post season play.
We probably had to take our lumps and it made us better. If we played those early schedule teams now we don’t go 3-12.

He earned a nest fan in this Tiger fan after that interview.
If my Tigers ain't in it, I'll be pulling for any team he coaches.....

Unless it's Alabama!

Just remember, Kentucky isn’t UCLA and you aren’t Chris Guillot!! LOL, you don’t have to go full fanboy for the Wildcats.
