While his nuts are giant and I do not want anyone else in the country over him, does he really get SEC Off POTW this week? Did he do much better than I thought or did almost everyone else not do well?

I’m all for the defensive choices, but Nuss struggled all game, although was clutch at the end of the game, and I’m sure that’s what left the impression to the voters. Go look at the live feed comments on here, just brutal, glad he fought through it, cause the end of the game moments make it easier to forget his struggle…

He was clutch, but it is asinine to say he's the offensive player of the week in the SEC.

Whits stat line reminds me of the one game where Kevin Minter went absolutely crazy. I think it was Florida.

Ole Miss has the No. 3 Scoring Defense, No. 1 Rushing Defense, and was ranked in the Top 10.

And without any help from the running game, Nuss still threw for 337 and 3 TDs.

And 44% and two interceptions, all the while being kept VERY clean by his offensive line.

No, Nuss did not play well, even though his end of the game performance was elite. However, I have seen some of the all-time greats, like Montana and Brady, play like hell all game and then drive the dagger in the defense’s heart in the last two minutes.

Wow! Even sweeter that this all happened against such a shitty program, shitty school and their shitty, pompous fans.

Looks like everyone else must have, too, if they gave it to Nuss.

Some of you need to go watch some film. The interior of LSU's OL was dominated by the Ole Miss front. Nolan was pushing Chester and Fraizer around all night. Nuss was constantly having to step into a line that was collapsed in the interior.

Power Hour LSU will break it down play-by-play. Worth a watch.

I would like to know how many hurries the OM DL forced.

1.

They had a total of 3, but the other 2 came from a LB.

I looked at the SEC games, and yes, it was very slim pickings

QB Beck had 440 yards and 3 TDs to 2 ints, but he was playing Miss St

RB Sampson had 113 rush yards and 3 TDs vs UF, but he ran 27 times to get that. Barely 4.1 ypc.

Qb Pavia was great, 15-18, but only had 142 yards with 2 TD to 1 int and 53 ruzh yards.

Only other decent options was Texas's RB who had 113 yards and 1 TD averaging 9 ypc and Van Buren the QB at Miss St who had 307 yards and 3 TDs to 1 int.

I guess Nuss's last 2 clutch plays put him over Van Buren, Sampson, and Beck.

Lots of deep throws, including at inappropriate times. Most of the time the routes seemed to dictate it. I didnt care for it, but not really sure who to fault.

Swinson is #5 in the country in sacks. 2 short of 2nd place.
