We should overtake usc within the next 3 years ,

We have 8, they have 12...gonna take at lest 4 more to tie and 5 to overtake.
7 is wild....I think it will be closer to 12-14 if not more. This team IS loaded, but it is still baseball and we will have some tough days

Keep this off our sideline please.

Agreed!

There is nothing to be concerned about with the pitching lol

This! Literally setting strikeout records and people act like we are dog water

The pitching staff is horrendous

re: So whats up with Cowan

I think Cowan will be fine. He thrives on off speed and inducing contact. Jay also said he pitched that game "in reverse" so the goal was probably that Cowan was only going to go 2 anyways. He is an extremely experienced pitcher and will be fine. Even the best pitchers in MLB get touched up or have bad outings. He will play a huge role in our season. It's game 5...

LSU sports app

Yep! Free to use and great calls of the game. I listen in even if I am watching on TV (especially for Football games where you get more information than the national feed.)

Fair...but UNC is without their best player who broke his hand last week.

he's got some of the best velocity in the bullpen.

Velocity gets you a scholarship, getting people out gets you to the next level. You get squeezed sometimes, gotta be able to work around that. Grant will continue to improve.
He is establishing himself as that person that every pitcher is going to fear, not just because of his power numbers, but because he has elite speed too, so even if you walk him he is still a threat on the base paths. Jake is elite all around. I just hope th3 guys around him can protect him in tbe lineup

The “pucker up and kiss that baby goodbye” is so AWESOME

FIFY...

I love it because it means the Tigers are putting runs across....also, "the [insert time here] is right on time" is iconic, and "the sky is a deep cornflower blue" or "the sky is an inky oyster grey"....Lyn IS a national treasure, and he is ours. Enjoy it while you can

What if we lose to a really bad team like Milwaukee? I'm already nervous as all getout with just a 1-0.lead.

It got a little squirrelly around the 5th inning...but then the Tigers said..."not today!"

But yeah, I did think about this post today...haha
We might drop a midweek game, to a team we "should never lose to" to a team who "we shouldn't even play"....maybe even to a team in Louisiana who is inferior in every position. We will absolutely lose SEC games, might even lose a few series...or, God forbid, get swept on a weekend when the bats go cold and we can't seem to figure out how to play the baby Monster in left field (see Auburn last year). Can we all take a collective breath now and say together "that's baseball" and "it's not football"... ok, now that we have done that. PLAY BALL! GEAUX TIGERS! Bring home #9!
Ever been to Cameron Indoor Stadium? I can assure you, the top players in the sport don't go to Duke because of how nice Cameron is.....likewise, they aren't coming to LSU because of hiw nice the Box is (or staying away because of how nice it isn't)
@ Vandy: 2-1

vs Oklahoma: 2-1

vs Kentucky: 3-0

@ Tennessee: 2-1

@ Ole Piss: 1-2 (ole miss is better than most think)

vs TAMU: 2-1

@ Miss St: 2-1

vs SC: 3-0

@ Georgia: 1-2

vs Florida: 2-1

End Result: 19-11
My second vote is Arambide, 3rd choice is Monster
Curiel, 1st pitch of the first game!
